Asked by Larry King whether he has talked to Jay Leno recently, Conan O'Brien immediate replied, "No. ... There's nothing, really, for either of us to talk about."
On 'Larry King Live,' Conan tried to emphasize that he was already over the whole 'Tonight Show' debacle. But it seemed like Conan was "over it" -- but was he over it in a "I don't want to think about it anymore" kind of way, or has he simply made his peace with the whole affair?
Conan said the call with Johnny Carson was an "amazing experience." And he added this: "There are certain things people can't take away from you." Not even NBC officials or Mr. Leno, apparently. "Whatever else has happened, I'll always have that."

In March, Leno admitted that he and O'Brien were both "treated terribly" by NBC. "Conan got screwed. I got screwed. This is TV. The reason show business pays a lot of money is so when you get screwed you've got something left over."
Also, check out our interview with Bill Carter, veteran writer and reporter for The New York Times, who spoke to us about 'The War for Late Night: When Leno Went Early and Television Went Crazy,' which chronicles in unparalleled detail the behind-the-scenes story of one of the biggest -- and ugliest -- fiascos in late night history. He gives readers a unique insider's look at NBC's messy and much-criticized 2009 decision to move Leno to 10PM so that O'Brien could take over 'Tonight.'
I agree. Anything for publicity. And, just for the record, I never thought Conan's "humor" ever rose above what I would hear in a High School boys room.
It"s amazing at how many places you keep telling your marriage story and mention the website. Just admit that your advertizing your own website and be real instead of using this stupid lie about being married after meeting your husband from this site.
Geez, Conan is given the spot at Leno's expense; then, when NBC turns the tables and screws Conan.....Conan is miffed at Leno. Get over it Conan,,,,,,,,you don't hold a candle to Leno's ability to entertain and conduct an interesting interview. Cours' I am somewhat biased; I think Conan is crazier than a bedbug...and not in a funny way......just weird and, well, I see no entertainment value to having Conan on TV.
Conan is nothing but a lousy loser and cry baby. And in my opinion not funny. He blames everybody but his own failure at capturing an audience. He never once blamed the poor ratings he got on 'tonight'. I have no respect for this loser.
and you're exactly the people who should be watching the dull jay leno if you call him weird. his quirky humour is f##king brilliant. leno should take his act into retirement homes

"Conan O'Brien on Jay Leno, 'There's Nothing For Us to Talk About"
And yet, they continue to talk about it.
And probably always will.

@ k, and Leno's humor is so high-brow? Give me a break! Nothing quite like being condescending on the subject of talk show hosts.
At least it's not Weinberg on Weinberg again.
