Gwyneth Paltrow Wears Daring Slit Dress at Premiere

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow isn't known for her daring red carpet style, but on Tuesday night at the premiere of her new film 'Country Strong,' she wore a floor-length white dress by Emilio Pucci that elicited wows from the crowd.

The front of the dress appeared to be simple, covering Paltrow's shapely figure entirely. But once she turned to show off the back, people realized it was backless and slashed down across her left hip.

The slit continued down her leg, giving onlookers quite an eyeful as it also revealed Paltrow was not wearing anything beneath the dress.

'Country Strong' is a drama centered on a rising country songwriter (Garrett Hedlund) who sparks with a fallen star (Paltrow). Together, they mount his ascent and her comeback, which leads to romantic complications involving her husband/manager (Tim McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Leighton Meester).

She has a great body, but that dress is awful. As stated above, definitely something one would find in a Frederick's of Hollywood catalog--cheap and tacky.

Gwyneth always looks good. She can wear things that would look horrible on some woman. This dress is pretty, not for every lady though. The shoes were a bad choice though, they dont begin to match right.

She needs every inch of the heels to keep her legs proportioned for the dress. Her legs are short, no better than average length. She is actually just someone who has made the most with what they have got. There are actually many specimens that are far more attractive and talented.

I sense a DIVORCE in her near future. She never appears with her husband Chris Martin at these Hollywood events, and despite being an actress, she is a mother of two young children. Not saying she can't dress provocatively, but she's flaunting WAY too much skin for a woman who's supposedly in a healthy marriage.
