Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Expecting Twins!

If anyone can squeeze a secret out of someone, it's obviously the Commander in Chief.

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle seemed to be on our side when they snagged some scoop from parents-to-be Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. When Mariah was performing at the 'Christmas in Washington' TNT special, she ran into the first couple, who asked if she was having twins, PEOPLE reports.

While some might take offense to a question that insinuates a doubly-growing belly, Mariah couldn't play coy with the first couple and admitted she was indeed having twins and called the surprise a "double treat."

Cannon took to his radio show, 'Rollin' With Nick Cannon,' this morning to tell the story about Mariah's presidential run-in and to confirm that they are expecting double the trouble. "At this point she hadn't told anybody because doctors advised us to keep it to ourselves until we get further along," he said. "And because of the excitement, because of the emotion, she was overwhelmed [and] she shared with the President and First Lady that we are having twins."

The couple's precautions in letting the public in on their pregnancy news stems from Mariah's 2008 miscarriage, which left the couple devastated but still eager to build a family. The twins are due in the spring of 2011.

I am very happy for these two and I hope they last. They did things the right way - marriage first, sex, and then baby. Not sex, baby, and then marriage if it even gets to marriage.

if you bothered to read the full article it said she miscarried in 2008 the same year she got married. she got married cuz she was pregnant then miscarried. nobody in hollywood has morals.

Hey, she is not a skank! she has good morals. She just happens to like to dress sexy. I say flaunt it if you got it. Quit being jealous you haters. She has a lot of talent. Much more than most these performers you see. I have loved her for years and I am 47. She is beautiful at her age or any age. I think it is a blessing that she has found such love and is doubly blessed with twins. She is high on my list of best singers as no one can hit as many octaves as she can. Did you here her Christmas special this past monday? She was awsome. I love her since she began over 20 years ago and I will continue to throughout her career and long after. God Bless Mariah and Nick and their budding family.

Man o man, she is not going to look the same at all after twins. No more public appearances for her. My sister just flat out ballooned after she had twins and she tried to lose it by every means known to man, she doesn't even resemble herself prior to having children.

patiodaddy is just stating the facts... As a guy you wonder why there are good looking 20-25 year old women and then moms. When I got to my 30's it all came clear. Birth is the factory that turns good looking 20-25 year olds into moms.

REALLY??? How rude - not all mothers who've given birth to twins "balloon up"... many return to their pre-baby body... it depends on the person, genetic's... Bet the sister just loves you - what a guy - she could lose weight but I bet you'll ALWAYS be a jerk

She stopped looking good long before getting pregnant. She's looked pregnant for 15 years. She used to be hot....in like 1991. She's a fat pig. Yeah, I know, I must be jealous right? Is that all you losers can think of to say? If that was true then I would not say I thought she used to be good looking. She lost her looks and her talent a long time ago.
