Miley Cyrus isn't too worried about the video that surfaced last week of her taking hits from a bong reportedly filled with a natural herb called salvia.Friends of the 'Hannah Montana' star tell TMZ that Miley told them "she's just young and having fun."
A friend was quoted saying, "Miley doesn't care. She's filming her movie ('So Undercover') and getting on with her life."
Miley's father, Billy Ray Cyrus, took to Twitter when he learned of the video, writing, "Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. I'm so sad. There is much beyond my control right now."

It's a shame what has been done to her! Her mom & dad are to blame for the most part. Where is her grandmother?
She's growing up and experimenting with a lot of stuff. Don't get down on her for this. Wait and see what happens. It could be that she'll turn out to be quite level headed after a brief period of wildness. As for whether she's talented or not, that's a matter of personal opinion.

It is a shame she doesn't care what her fans, or the public, thinks. After all they are the ones that made her what she is today, as someone pointed out earlier, a very rich brat. She wants to act older, so what the mature thing would be is to consider those other than yourself, and whether she likes it or not, she is an example for others. She will be Miley Noboby, has-been when parents stop paying the money to see anything involving her.

You are always hating on Miley even though you think old drug users like Nicole Richie are OK. Why the double standard? Miley has never broken any laws that I know of. I do somewhat agree with what you say here as I think it is a bad move for Miley to snub her younger fans. She is just doing what she is exposed to just like all of us. You can count the so-called innocent (for now) stars on one hand. Maybe she will get enough new fans to replace the younger ones. Who knows, but it is her call. I still love Miley and think she has great talent. Miley is beautiful. Miley is my dream girl still.
She puts the first syllable in her music style.

Miley is 18 and simply experimenting.....a lot of us people have done it and are fine upstanding citizens....she's an entertainer and yes kids look up to her but that still does not mean that she isnt human and going through changes in her life...you people condemn her for being 18....did anyone ever think that its a teaching moment to talk to your kids about drugs and slam Miley for for doing something that's legal. Oh and one more thing she does the entertainment thing because she likes to we, the public are the ones who put her and other celebrities on a pedastool......just remember when you have a finger pointed at her saying all the bad things she's done wrong you have three pointed at yourself....you're not perfect and probably couldn't last a day in the public eye......

you are spot on about a teaching moment, however if no punishment is brought forth then all you your teaching will be out the window. When my youngest son experienced some thing like this and saw no responce for those actions he didnt believe any thing i had to say about the issue. I believe the old saying that for every action a reaction happens.
how about naming a few of these "so called friends"? probably some trailer trash, no-talent, hangers on.

Charice is eighteen but never gotten into anything like "experimenting." Well, that just shows how she was raised as a kid even without her dad at a young age plus her culture plays a part.
She's the real role model. Support her rather than those people who

Just because you're going through a divorce or trying to have fun, it doesn't mean you can do this crap. Drinking, drugs, smoking, all those things Miley has done so far, illegal or legal, it has KILLED people. People have DIED, i repeat DIED, from doing that. Screw your head on straight, Miles.
