Julianne Hough's Music Video Too Hot for CMT?

Julianne Hough shed some clothes in the video for her latest single, 'Is That So Wrong,' and according to reports it was too wrong for Country Music Television (CMT). The video features the former 'Dancing With the Stars' beauty playfully romping around her apartment wearing next to nothing and showing off some sexy dance moves.

Julianne hinted at a ban in Baltimore last weekend during a radio-sponsored Christmas concert. "This next song -- funny story," she told the packed audience. "I shot a music video for it, and Country Music Television banned it. Apparently, I was taking off too many clothes as I was dancing across my bedroom."

But CMT denies any ban has occurred, instead telling CNN that they aren't playing 'Is That So Wrong' because of a hiccup in contract negotiations. It comes down to this: CMT and its parent company MTV are currently in talks with VEVO, which distributes all videos from Hough's label. Until that can be worked out, no Julianne in her underwear for you!

The network is not the only one shying away from the clip, as it is also NOWHERE to be found on YouTube or the video search engine Truveo and has been removed from several other websites. One of the only sites still hosting the video is the not-shady-sounding-at-all YouClubVideo.com, which given the flood of traffic today is predictably having a hard time staying online.

I haven't see this video, but i do not remember Faith Hill's Breathe"' getting anything negative... beach, sheets and imagination. please

Gorgeous lady - fantastic dancer, so I'd have to say, I'd rather have watched her dance more in the video instead of rolling around on the bed and flipping on the furniture. You were right when you said it took away from the song...that was silly.

Great song and great dancing, but I don't really see how anything she did in the video pertains to the wording of the song. It was more of a slow paced song and her dancing was more for something like Britney Spears or even some Carrie Underwood songs, not for that particular song, in my opinion. She doesn't want to be alone so she strips off her clothes? I think had it been more of a story starting when she bumped into the guy and everything.. maybe they kept seeing each other around and stuff and at the end of the video they end up together.. something like that would've been more appropriate for the song.

Maybe her video wasn't banned because it was too racy. Maybe it was banned because the music television channels no longer show music videos, but instead are filled with reruns of reality shows that were never wanted the first time they aired. BRING BACK MUSIC VIDEOS TO MUSIC TELEVISION!!

The video is a perfect explanation of the song, which is going to be a hit. She has danced sexier and shown more skin on prime time, "Dancing With the Stars" and noone seemed to mind it then.

Has anyone actually read the lyrics to this song? It is an amazing song and an amazing video. It is so raw and shows the real meaning of the song. She is a terrific dancer and should be able to express herself.
Lady Gaga's video for Alejandro shows her being grabbed by mulitple men and Shakira's She Wolf video has her in a leotard locked in a cage grinding. MTV plays these videos and if CMT is owned by MTV, why cannot they not play this video?
Last thing, the evening news and TMZ shows more nudity then this video. What is wrong with this society?

I don't think the video is too racy, it's just BAD! She is beautiful and sings beautiful so why is she throwing herself around the room like she's sex starved and then taking her clothes off. Has no one told her "less is more" "leave something to the imagination" and when your that beautiful and talented have confidence.. don't try so hard.

Julianne has changed a lot since she has been dating Ryan Secrest. That being said, if Faith Hill years ago can roll around on a bed with nothing more than a sheet barely covering her, than why shouldnt this video be ok??

Don't see the big deal. I've seen more of her on DWTS for goodness sakes. I agree with the fact that she doesn't need to do all that jumping and tumbling around. Beautiful girl though!
