Who Should Zac Efron Date Now That He's Single?

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens seemed like the perfect example of young love in Hollywood. But the 'High School Musical' costars' have split, and this teenage dream is OVER! So, after nearly five years of being in a committed relationship, Zac Efron is officially single.

Now this golden boy has the charm and good looks to get any lady he wants, but we've narrowed down the choices for him. Here are our picks for Zac's post-Vanessa rebound chicks!

Nikki Blonsky – Zac's endearingly vivacious co-star in 'Hair Spray' didn't play coy about her crush on the So-Cal cutie. During an interview with Wendy Williams, she called Zac one of her best friends and responded with a resounding, "No," when asked if Zac and Vanessa would make it as a couple. "Sorry! Sorry, V," she said. "Love you girl, but it ain't happening... I'm sorry, Hollywood, I know him, real well. I love him, real well. I'm the one for Zac Efron, okay? Let's just settle the debate! I'm the one for Zac Efron." She sure seems certain that she and Zac are meant to be, and we're inclined to believe this spunky, confident gal!

Ashley Tisdale – Vanessa might have played Zac's on-screen love interest, but Ashley Tisdale's been in the picture just as long! Ashley played the uppity role of, Sharpay Evans, a compulsive overachiever who wasn't the most likable lady. But in real life, Ashley's a level-headed, down to earth girl who's a close friend of Zac's, often asking him advice on the guys she's dating. She dismissed the idea of a crush on her costar to Seventeen Magazine, saying, "I [knew] Zac for three years before the first 'High School Musical.' He looked like he was 12 years old at the time... Yeah, he definitely is cute and everything, I can see why people do think he's hot, but he's too much like my brother." Well, he's certainly all grown up now, and we think these old friends could go from BFFs to BF and GF!

Miley Cyrus – Miley and Zac would be a Mickey Mouse match made in heaven! Yes, Miley's public image hasn't been the greatest lately... From bong hits to underage drinking, the girl could use a lesson in keeping her dirty laundry out of the tabloids. Zac's been seen buying beer and he's alluded to smoking, but he never seems to get caught with his pants down, figuratively or literally. He's got the common sense to party in the privacy of his own home, and surround himself with friends who aren't out to document his debauchery! We think he'd be a good influence on Miley. Plus, he won't hold her questionable public slipups over her head. After all, he stuck by Vanessa even after her infamous sext went viral!

Selena Gomez – Another Disney kid who'd be great for Zac is Selena Gomez. Unlike her former-best friend Demi Lovato, Selena has maintained a squeaky-clean image and seems to maintain a wholesome lifestyle. Plus, her sleek dark hair, big brown eyes, and petite figure resemble those of Vanessa Hudgens, and we already know Zac is a fan of that look!

Lea Michele – Zac and Lea Michele's courtship would already be a made-for-TV musical! These two theatrically included stars would surely sing some great duets, and we're pretty sure dating Lea would guarantee Zac a guest spot on 'Glee.' These two are also rumored to be starring in 'New Year's Eve,' the sequel to the star-filled hit, 'Valentine's Day.' We think these two showstoppers would make a great duet!

So there you have them, our picks for Zac Efron's next lucky lady.. Should these starlets not harmonize with Zac as well as we predicted, we're sure there are plenty of other girls who are eager to console this newly-single Hollywood bachelor!

I'm convinced Zac Efron and Demi Lovato could go great together, contrary to what the article said.

Yes, the media has portrayed her as being a bit scandalous in recent months, but it's not as bad as you think. Demi voluntarily entered into emotional rehab for many reasons: coping over her close friend's death, bullying in the past, pressures by fame and Disney, the breakup of her and Joe and then Joe bringing Ashley Greene on tour with them, her not-so-great relationship with her estranged father, guilt over punching Alex Welch, etc., etc., etc. As for the new racy photos, virtually every girl has done that! Be thankful only Demi's stomach is showing. You see more skin and clevage on a regular beach; what makes this so bad?????

Demi is a girl with good morals, good image, gorgeous beauty, great singing, great acting, great dancing skills, and is a good age to date Efron. WHY NOT?
