'The Situation' Barred From Plaza Hotel Gym

Although Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino had been in talks to become the face of the Plaza Hotel's luxury gym, NY Post reports the 'Jersey Shore' star has been barred from the deal. According to reports, the hotel's executives don't think the reality TV star is right for its patrons.

Sorrentino met with Ross Franklin, CEO of RF Health Club Consulting, in October, but Franklin reportedly decided to proceed without the reality star.

"The Plaza is not working with The Situation on any projects, including the gym space," a rep for the hotel said.

Sorrentino's rep said the reality star plans to open a high-end gym elsewhere, where he will offer personal ab workouts.

"Mike had only one meeting with the owners of the gym property a couple of months ago to see if this is something he would be interested in. Mike decided that this was not the right location for a potential gym that he would be involved in. He has currently been entertaining offers from several other properties," his rep told the NY Post.

I find it hilarious that "he" (The Sitch) met with the Hotel guys a couple months ago to see if it was something "he" would be interested in doing (as if the Hotel people were after HIM). ROFLMAO. It's OBVIOUS he and his "rep" pitched to the Hotel and they (the Hotel) turned him down flat. OMG, this idiot is desperate. Hey, jerk-off, if you're reading this (and I HOPE you are), you're a loser and the majority of the public don't know or want anything to do with you or your "friends." Get a clue and go back to where you came from.
