Lindsay Lohan Under Investigation in Battery Case

Lindsay Lohan is under investigation for a battery case after an unnamed staff member at her rehab center, Betty Ford, asked to have her prosecuted by the Palm Beach Police Department, according to TMZ

The case involves an alleged altercation that happened after Lohan and her roommates left the clinic and came back from a bar at 1:03 A.M. on Dec. 12. The altercation is categorized as a "hand to hand battery."

Police reported to Betty Ford after the call, and interviewed both the actress and the staff member, whom "desired prosecution."

The report says as soon as the investigation is done, it will be reviewed by prosecutors. It's unknown what kind of consequences Lohan will face if the charges stick.

Lohan voluntarily entered rehab at Betty Ford back in late September and has been there ever since.

First of all, Palm Beach is in Florida. Palm Desert is in California. But, aside from the crappy reporting and lack of attention to details, WTF!!!!!!!!! She's in court-ordered rehab and she's allowed to go out? Did miss a memo?

She is NOT allowed to leave, which is probably what precipitated this incident. It also shows just how seriously she is taking rehab. No one will ever be rehabilitated until or unless they admit they have an addiction and truly want to get clean.

What kind of a rehab lets you out to a F'ing BAR??? She must be enjoying her stay at the lovely spa, and you even get drinking privileges! .... And what is it this loser did, again? Hit someone??? What a pig. Really. If this was real life she'd be living in a trailer, covered with home-made tattoes, and drifting from one fast-food job to another.

LiLo is running out of options and if they are letting her run in and out to bars while she is supposed to be in treatment, then treatment isn't working and she has proven the ONLY thing that she is ever gonna understand is some serious JAIL time

I agree. She does not and will not get it until she spends a real 6 months locked upin jail and let her out to pick up trash on the side of the road in a chain gang. When are they going to stop allowing this spoiled monster to do what she wants?. Going to bars while she is in rehab?...you have got to be kidding me. The judge needs to lock this loser up today.
