Pee-wee Herman is the luckiest boy in the world: He's had a front-row seat to witness the magic that is Christmastime in New York City.

P.W. has been spending his December days and nights on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theater during his triumphant return of 'The Pee-wee Herman Show.' The critical and audience smash -- featuring his famed group of friends including Miss Yvonne, Mailman Mike, Cowboy Curtis and Jambi the Genie -- runs through Jan. 2. Before stepping on stage, Pee-wee was kind enough to sit down and tell PopEater how it is spending time in NYC during the busiest season of the year..

"New York City during the holidays is incredible because we have the Fifth Avenue Christmas windows and it's snowy everywhere and I'm wearing my Isaac Mizrahi custom designed overcoat," he says. "Did I namedrop? I didn't mean to."

Paul Rubin is a very good writer and performer. I watched Pee Wee's play house when it came on every week, I have seen his movies and they are great. His run in with the law was a waste of tax payers money, the police just wanted to make a name for themselves. Paul Rubin just got caught where most others have gotten away with it. Lots of guys have done the same thing and it was no big deal. Too bad none of his friends came to his rescue other than Cyndi Lauper at his time of need. Paul keep up the good work, may you bring many laughs to this world again.

PeeWee did the best children's show since Sesame Street and his jokes are certainly better (and cleaner) then any of the above. As far as the theater incident, get over it. Who of you is pure and holy enough to pick up that first stone, hmmm?
