She's back ... 'Sarah Palin's Alaska' is such a huge hit for TLC that the network is busy trying to get the former governor to sign up for season two."3.066 million people turned in last week to see her episode with Kate Gosselin," a TLC insider tells me. "That is more people than are watching Bravo's 'Housewives' series or most other cable shows. For sure the network is doing everything it possibly can to convince Sarah to do another season, but at the end of the day it looks like it will all come down to money."
Sarah, who is reportedly making more than $250,000 per episode for the eight-week series, is no fool -- when the show debuted to over 4.96 million viewers, insiders tell me she started talking about a new deal right away.

Hard to believe anyone would watch these nit wits on TV. T%he old saying water seeks it's own level, guess that holds true for half wits they seem to seek out each other.

Enjoy the show and delighted it's returning next year!

Family Values? She is a poser ! It is all for the media. I don't consider raising children to be having sex with a boyfriend right udner her nose and then having a child out of wedlock as a teenager in high school as FAMILY VALUES. I don't consider encouraging a teenage single mother to go on a national TV show as FAMILY VALUES. I don't consider dragging a family on a reality show and exposing them to the media as FAMILY VALUES. Whoever you people are embracing Sarah Pain and Family Values seem to be blinded by HYPOCRISY.

Won't watch it next year either. If she runs for office, will all her opponents get one hour reality shows?

If she ran for any national office next year, it would be inappropriate; Schwarzenegger stayed out the movie business the moment he was elected Governor of California.
Good news for her. Though she will probably quit half way through the season. Didn't she call then Senator Obama a celebrity back in 2008, hmmm.

I can't imagine TLC renewing this show. I watched the first few shows because I lived in AK for 18 years and wanted to see the scenery etc. What a disappointment. Most people in Anchorage do not have the time or money to fly into areas where she was. Also the fishing charters are very expensive. The show just does not give you a true picture of life in AK.

Not true. This is a pretty accurate translation of Alaska, but it is true that it can cost a pretty penny to go by plane or even barge to some of these events. For a visitor, though, this is a great advertisement for Alaska.
Sarah Palin is using her exposure to make MILLIONS on Book deals and TV exposure... MORE MONEY than she ever made as Governor (and that's why she quit)... If she ran for President whould she QUIT if she could make MORE MONEY running-off her mouth?

I just threw up a little in my mouth. BARF!

I like the show....Alaska is so beautiful. I won't vote for Sarah Palin for anything...but I like her show. The sheep who won't even watch it are missing out on a treat. Being close minded is a sad way to live.

As a long time Alaskan, this show does not reflect the real Alaskan's life...all the Palin's acting in a reality show, and poorly at that!
Great show that showcases Alaska! Better than anything else of TV and also makes the liberals heads explode. Go, Sarah!

Let her have another season on tv, if, it keeps her out of politics. This woman is so overexposed, so opinionated and so egotistical it is amazing.
Alaska is beautiful country, but with Mrs. Palin in every picture it sort of ruins the beauty of the landscape.

Our family enjoys the show! Sarah is so down to earth and the Alaska backdrop is amazing. It is awsome to get a glimps into the Palin family and to see how 'normal' they are.

What are 'glimps'?
Oh gawd, we'll we ever be rid of this women!!!!
