She's back ... 'Sarah Palin's Alaska' is such a huge hit for TLC that the network is busy trying to get the former governor to sign up for season two."3.066 million people turned in last week to see her episode with Kate Gosselin," a TLC insider tells me. "That is more people than are watching Bravo's 'Housewives' series or most other cable shows. For sure the network is doing everything it possibly can to convince Sarah to do another season, but at the end of the day it looks like it will all come down to money."
Sarah, who is reportedly making more than $250,000 per episode for the eight-week series, is no fool -- when the show debuted to over 4.96 million viewers, insiders tell me she started talking about a new deal right away.

Sarah Palin's Alaska is a great show and you idiots always knocking

I realize there will be people who prefer stuff like "2 1/2 men" to shows like Sarah Palin's, but I'm not going to insult their choice; it's theirs to make.
Why does The Learning Channel hate America?

Are you people nuts? Rewarding this "quitter" has gone way too far. Get a life everyone!!

Please just let this woman and her clan go away. Far, far, far away.

And what does that have to do with this show's bringing the beauty of Alaska to people who have never been there? Fly into Juneau (try to take a plane that gets to Juneau in daylight so you can see just how desolate the land is), rent a car and motel room, dress for rain, stay a couple of weeks and take a hike up the Perseverance Trail, or drive down to the Mendenhall Glacier and you will be amazed at what you see - at least I hope you will.
OH SHUT UP ALREADY! Who made you watch the show? I like it and will watch it again. Let me guess? You do nothing with your children (if you have any) or family. So watch your programs and leave hers alone!

Talk about the dumbing down of America.

Palin is not white house material, but her show isnt bad. Love Alaska. So beautiful. Yeah, her kids are rather spoiled. But, oh well, it is just t.v.

The Show is really great. The Scenery alone is out of this world.
Very different from the usual reality show.
I just don't trust TLC not to be spying & reporting deeply personal things, to those who would hurt the children.
SARAH WTG! K eep it out in the Wild, keep TLC AWAY FROM YOUR
HOME & PERSONAL EPISODES

Alaska law says that their governor cannot have any second jobs while in office (public speaker, reality star, author). She QUIT the governorship to make money. After 2 years. She called her remaining YEARS in office as being lame duck YEARS so not that important anyway... what a piece of work! Alaskans are RIGHTLY outraged.

If you don't like her or the show, don't watch and I for one have heard enough of you trash talking her and her family. They love this country and are proud of it unlike the family in the WH, so quit with the negative talk and start looking at how ignorant you are for the constant badgering that is totally undeserved.

who doesn't like watching a good train wreck?

It's not sad that Sarah Palin has a TV show, really she is at the same level of all the other reality TV show stars out there. But what is sad is just reality TV shows over all, instead of people watching other people live there life, people should be using that time to live there own life. This country would be a much better place if people learned to do more with there own life.

Sarah Palin is shallow without the depth.

She WILL be the Republican presidential candidate in 2012! It is a lock with those first four state primaries as her launching pad.

I don't know, I like the show and while I think she could actually handle the job of President (especially given the lack of work our current one puts into it), there are too many people who just have too many issues with her to actually vote for her, whether or not those issues are valid.
I'd bone her

I find it odd that so many people who say they would never watch her show seem to find any web site that mentions her name to trash the show they don't watch.
The show is fun and it shows fun things you can do in Alaska.
If you don't like it watch something else. I happen to enjoy it.
