Lindsay Lohan's Alleged Victim Fired From Betty Ford

Dawn Holland, a Betty Ford Center staffer who claimed Lindsay Lohan assaulted her, has been fired from the treatment center, RadarOnline reports. "Betty Ford Center terminated me, and I'm now going full force," she said. "[It was] due to breach of patient confidentiality because I did an interview with TMZ," she added.

Riverside County sheriff's detectives said Tuesday they are investigating the 'Mean Girls' star for an alleged altercation with a worker at a Betty Ford Center facility in Palm Desert, Calif., that occurred after 1AM on Dec. 12. The agency declined to say what prompted the fight, but said the worker was interested in pursuing charges against Lohan.

Betty Ford spokesman Russ Patrick said the staffer was fired for identifying patients at the center in the interview, "disclosing a privileged document" and violating HIPAA laws.

Holland appeared in an interview on celebrity website TMZ on Tuesday afternoon, claiming Lohan and two other girls had left the facility without permission. In the video, Holland claims she was trying to get Lohan to submit to a breathalyzer test when the actress became belligerent, pushed her and snatched a phone from her hand, straining her arm.

"Lindsay and two other patients had snuck out, went drinking and tried to sneak back in and they got caught. We were told by our administration on-call to do a breathalyzer test, which she refused to do," Holland told TMZ. "She was angry and out of control."

Holland says Lohan pushed her after she asked the actress to remove her hands from another patient. As Holland, Lohan and the two other patients went inside, Holland said Lohan "kept yelling and cursing and screaming." At this point, Holland called the police.

"She tried to snatch the phone from out of my arm," Holland claimed. "She grabbed my wrist and twisted my arm and my hand to get the phone."

According to Holland, TMZ paid her at least $10,000 for the interview and photos of her injuries.

Lohan has not been arrested or charged in the incident. Her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said in an e-mailed statement that it was the actress who called for police.

While the fallout for Holland was swift, Lohan's situation remains unclear. A judge has ordered her to remain at Betty Ford until Jan. 3 and remain out of trouble until Feb. 25. RadarOnline.com reports that while Lohan originally refused to take a breathalyzer test, she did pass an alcohol test a few hours later.

The judge also ordered her to submit to random drug and alcohol screenings or face up to six months in jail for violating her probation on a 3-year-old drunk driving case. Lohan has been receiving treatment at Betty Ford and its facilities since late September.

Riverside County sheriff's Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela said Lohan's case would be presented to prosecutors, who will decide whether Lohan will face new charges.

Well I would say the clinic isn't very good if their patients can just sneak out. It wasn't just Lindsay but two others also. How did they get outside clothes? Why isn't there a curfew for the patients that says when they have to be in their rooms? Who's suppose to be watching them? this is suppose to be a place where addicts and alcoholics go to get dried out. It seems too lenient to me. Also the employees should be taught how to handle troublesome inmates. This was Dawns job to take care of these people. they are trained to know that sometimes inmates will fight them. That's part of the job. And no she shouldn't have talked about her to the media. That was wrong. TMZ has already paid this gold digger 10,000 for flapping her mouth so she doesn't need anymore money. Would she be sueing if it were anybody but Lindsay? Of course not. I would just chalk it up to a job related injury and let it go. She broke the rules of her employment so she has nobody to blame but herself.

If it's true that she had permission to leave then the clinic was wrong to allow it. Given her history and her unreliable personality they should have known better than let her leave so it's the clinics fault. And there's always some money hungry gold digger out there who will take advantage of the situation. I hope this woman doesn't get a dime.

I hope the woman doesnt get a dime after talking about anything that goes on in a rehab. This time Lindsay is a victim..
If it was me, I would be very upset that a care taker told others what I did, or said. What goes on at any doctors office, or hopital of any kind, is no ones business, ever.
I hope Lindsay did hurt the woman.
And I do hope, the woman who likes to talk, gets nothing but a bad name.

When she finally maims/kills someone, all those who have allowed leniency for her behavior need to be punished severely for NOT doing their job. It's obvious she (LL) is going to "do it her way" and eventually is going to hurt someone other than herself. Hey, maybe she will run over her attorney or one of his kids.

It is NEVER okay to do an interview or provide confidential information to anyone when you work in this type of environment, no matter who you're talking about. It sounds like this woman wanted her 15 minutes of fame and at the same time, set up the scenario for a lawsuit. She should definitely have been fired!

The judge ordered Lindsay Lohan to remain AT the Betty Ford Clinic, AND to stay out of trouble. It seems to me she has broken TWO of those conditions. If the judge doesn't send her back to jail, I can only think that the judge is being paid under the table.

Jail won't be any help, she can score just as much in jail as she can out. However, her mouth is what will get her in big trouble in jail. Six months in County, and random testing, and if she fails, just keep tacking on more time. The down side is these AOL writers who can't stay away from the Lohan saga, will have to write about something elso for a while.

Lohan should be doing her time in a real jail and not some cush hospital for the rich. Does anyone out there not believe it is high time the Courts stopped treating her like a VIP and instead give her the same treatment as any other law breaker.

At the same time, the hospital was right to fire the employee who went to the media and violated the confidentiality of a patient. Unless, the Police can uncover an independent witness to the alleged asault, it will go no where. Since the two other party girls are drinking buddies of Lohan, don't expect them to be a witness against her. Bottom line is Lohan skates again and good luck with the hospital employee ever finding anyone who will hire her again.

She refused the breath test, enough said it was in the Judges' order, violate her and sennd her to jail for her 6 months, any body else it would of already been enough said.
