Jon Gosselin Gets a Job, and It's Not a Reality TV Show

After months staying out of the limelight, Jon Gosselin has finally landed a real job and gotten his life back together.

"Jon is very close with Jill Zarin from 'Real Housewives of New York,' " an insider tells me. "It was Jill who told Jon to stay out of the spotlight and get himself a real job. Fame is fun but doesn't pay the bills."

Now Jon is working for a real estate developer, has a nice new girlfriend, and is seeing his children three to four times a week.

"Jon is in a great place," a friend of the father of eight tells me. "He is happy and knows what a fool he made of himself after his split from Kate. He has been getting a lot of TV offers, including interest from 'Dancing With the Stars,' and has turned them all down. If he never sees a TV camera again in his life it will be too soon."

Meanwhile, don't expect his ex, Kate Gosselin, to disappear anytime soon. Her shows are doing just fine for TLC, ensuring that Kate won't be out of the network's line-up anytime soon. Although the ratings are way down from the days of her marriage breakdown, Kate's show is constantly in the top 10 for TLC.

"Even if her show did get canceled, Kate would find a way to still be famous," a friend of the mom tells me. "She addicted to it."

I can't believe after everything, Jon has become the normal parent!

Now Jon is working for a real estate developer, has a nice new girlfriend, and is seeing his children three to four times a week.I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via age'lessmate.c'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends..

I am glad Jon got rid of Kate. TLC should too. She is not worthy of TV. I can't think of anything she is worthy of!!!!

Good for him. And I am glad he is seeing the children and hopefully he can balance them out since Kate is poison and tempermental. Those kids need to see someone react with calm and kindness rather than explosive like Kate.

Kate's mother in law told her that her children wouldn't look like her as the Korean gene was very strong. And that is true. Kate looks as if she didn't have a thing to do with it! But I agree that she would find a way to be famous, and I ask why not? After all, she makes a fine living so why would she go back to conventional employment? I am no fan, but I can't fault her to making money when so many parents aren't.

Yes, look at the "quality" of TLC shows. Like watching Sarah Palin beat something to death. I prefer Kate.

Good for him, it will be helpfull for the kids if at least one of the parents goes back to a more normal lifestyle! who would have thought!

I don't like either of them, but he is no better than she is...

Sway how do you know he doesn't pay child support. He sees his children 3-4 times a week. If he didn't pay child support he wouldn't be able to see them at all. Kate the shrew wouldn't let him. Good luck to you Jon. You never did like being apart of the TLC nightmare. If Kate didn't make you quit your job to devote all your time to TLC you probably would still be there. You have proven to be the more stable parent. These kids need stability & love in their lives more than anything.

Agreed. Jon seems to be the most balanced and sees the children as little individuals not Kate's 8. From past experience, I no longer watch this train wreck of a supposed mother, Jon has always been the most reasonable and rational.

Good for him, at least he has the brains. His marriage probably would've lasted if him and kate hadn't signed up for the reality show. Kate is the spender of all the money and then she blames it on Jon. I hope Jon has a good future!
