DJ Pauly D Getting a 'Jersey Shore' Spin-Off

Looks like Snooki, The Situation and J-Woww will just have to wait for their time to shine -- Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio is the first 'Jersey Shore' star to land a spin-off series on MTV.

RadarOnline.com writes that a source close to the show says it will be called 'Pauly's World.' "The boys that Pauly hangs with are his road manager "Big Mike," his bodyguard Jerry and Ryan, a buddy he grew up with who "has a really good business sense," the source tells Radar.

EW reports that a press release from 495 Productions says a "pilot presentation" has already been filmed.

"At the heart of 'Jersey Shore' is the unique and genuine cast and Pauly D truly embodies both qualities," MTV executive vice president of programming and head of productions Chris Linn said in a release. "He's distinguished himself onscreen as the fun-loving, well-coiffed and dependable guy you can't help but want to hang out with. We know viewers are curious about his life away from the shore and we look forward to exploring new possibilities around that."
