Natalie Portman Engaged and Expecting With 'Black Swan' Partner

Natalie Portman has big news to share -- she's becoming a wife and a mother.

The 29-year-old 'Black Swan' star is expecting her first child with new fiance Benjamin Millepied, her rep confirms to PEOPLE. The baby is due in 2011.

The pair met on the set of 'Swan' where Millepied -- a principal dancer in the New York City Ballet -- choreographed the dances and played her partner on screen.

"We got along right away; she's very, very professional, not difficult - there's no attitude there," he told Vulture of first working with his now fiancee.

In the Darren Aronofsky psychological thriller, Portman plays a troubled ballerina on the rise in her ballet company. For the role, the actress has earned Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe nominations and is a front-runner for an Oscar nod.

Just because it is "The Norm" does not make it right! Whatever happened to marriage first? I see Natalie Portman is no different then the rest of these young girls today, and I am not just talking about Hollywood Types! Whatever happened to having some shame and dignity, if not for yourself but for your family?

How many years has he be taking her to bed? Engaged, Expecting. Thought it should be Engaged, Married and then Pregnant!! These people have so little respect for themselves, that is a given however what a disgrace for their unborn child!

Jeez Louise...all of you self-righteous,judgemental, perfect people need to get off of her back, already. Worry about sweeping your own porches and leave this young woman to do the same. Whatever moral/immoral issues that she may have are between her and God (IMO), and it's not for you (or me) to judge her. Will you be paying for this baby? Does anything that she chooses in her personal life impact you in any way? *NO*. Move on and worry about your own righteousness.

To NY my point is, this actress is now famous and doing well, and she is young, why have a child at this stage of her life when she could be out there having fun and being single. Why have a child when she probably will have nannies raise it.

What is all this crap that you have to be married first to have a child?! Natalie is not 16 years old, she's 29 and has already had a long succesful career. She started acting when she was 11 or 12 and is probably plenty ready to settle down and start a family! What about all the single parents who did get married first and then went through a messing divorce, how did getting married first help them? It is after all just a piece of paper!!!

LOL!! Yeah that'll last. I will be amazed if they even get married and if they do I am sure it won't last more than a year or two. Wonder if it is the first time she got herself knocked up. Must be the only time she really cared about it anyway.

Vita: She is almost 30 years old. She is in love & engaged. While she is working a nanny will probably watch the child but how is that different than when parents work & hire babysitters, grandmas, or sent the child to nursery school while they are working. Why can't people just wish them well & leave it at that. As far as getting married before conceiving, how many of us could have gotten pregnant before marriage but were lucky enough not to?? 99% of women have sex before marriage so stop the judging. The more accurate question is how many abortions have women had before getting married. Now that is a shame.
