Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin Will 'Discuss' Move to Arizona, Plans for Son Tripp

Bristol Palin is set to relocate to a new home in Arizona, but Levi Johnston, father of Bristol's 2-year-old son Tripp, needs to approve first.

Johnston's rep told TMZ Levi is "aware" of Bristol's plans to move away from Alaska, but that the two have yet to talk about relocating Tripp.

"According to court officials in Alaska, in order for a parent with primary custody -- like Bristol -- to relocate a child, she would need either consent from the other parent or she could file a motion for approval from a judge," TMZ reports.

Johnston's rep says Levi is "not at all upset" about Bristol's plans to move. "After the holidays, Levi and Bristol will get together and discuss plans for Tripp," the rep adds.

E! Online confirmed that about a month ago that Bristol purchased a property in Maricopa, Ariz., approximately 35 miles south of Phoenix -- a region hard hit by the financial recession (ABC's 'Nightline' has called Maricopa the "poster child of the housing crisis"). Public records show the five-bedroom home was originally built in 2006 and sold for $329,560. It went into foreclosure in January, with the most recent owners snapping it up for $137,200; it was then fixed up and flipped back onto the market for resale.

Sarah Palin's 20-year-old 'DWTS' finalist daughter reportedly paid $172,000 -- in cash -- for the large house.

A source close to Palin told PopEater's Naughty But Nice Rob that the entire Palin clan is planning to leave Alaska, with Sarah Palin also eying property in Arizona.

Earlier in December, Bristol said of Levi's new gal pal Sunny Oglesby: "I have to be happy for Levi's new relationship because it sounds like his new girlfriend is influencing him to want to actually spend time with Tripp. I sincerely appreciate her influence because [Levi] hasn't asked to see Tripp in over five months, so I'm happy for this new development!"

The 19-year-old Oglesby, is "In a Relationship with Levi Johnston," according to her Facebook page, which also features a photo of her kissing Palin's 20-year-old ex.

I'm simply amazed at the ignorance in most of these postings.

Considering he hasn't bothered to see his own child in almost 6 months it shouldn't be hard to get a court to alter the custody problem.

Aside from knocking up a vp candidate's daughter what has this guy ever done or is doing?

What I don't understand is why Sarah let her daughter date that loser in the first place. The Palins had status in Alaska and she was dating this guy????

I love to see how the Palin's affect these Liberals. In everything they don't approve of or agree with they lash out like the imbecil's they are. Spoiled little mouthy brats! Bristol is a normal girl doing normal things. She got a good deal on a house. She paid with her own money that she earned. She may have made a mistake in getting pregnant but how many young girls do? She is now helping and advising other teens to be careful and still the leftist barrage continues! Democrats are so pathetic!!!

If he has not seen his child in months, ans she has custody what does it matter if she moves? It is her money. With all due respect he had plenty of time to see his child in Alaska. But he was too busy trashing..and then lying to Bristol about getting back together. Maybe he will grow up one day. He blew it. Seems as though Bristol is getting her life together, after being a teen mom. She is using her money wisely, and thinking about the future of herself and her son. Most in her position (age) would be buying things, and partying.

what kind of man doesn't see his son in 6 months i'll tell you a loser thats who.it looks & feels like he is stuck w/ a kid he didn't want i think he wishes she would have gotten rid of the baby.just to be a d*** head he'll give her a hard time just say yes & she'll go on taking care of the kid like she always has done. i give her cudos for having the courage to start a new life out of alaska.what has the b/daddy done that he needs a rep he is nothing but a joke.i think sarah told bristol to stay away from him & she didn't listen to her mama.

Jerks, I bought a house in Maricopa last year, 2500Sqft 4bdrm, 3bth brand spankin new for 125K! There are no trailers and apartments, just houses! All Families! I love it here so much. I can even the stars at night. You can't if you live within a 20 mile radius of Phoenix. I hope to bump into her at Fry's!
