Kate Gosselin Makes New Year's Resolution (Look Out, Fellas!)

Kate Gosselin certainly had a dramatic year in 2010, but now she's looking to put her past behind her and focus on 2011 with a surprising New Year's resolution to find a new man.

"No one wants to be a single parent," a friend of Kate's tells me. "So much of 2010 has been about the children that Kate forgot to look after herself. Now, in the New Year, Kate is determined to start dating again and hopefully find a new man."

But if you're hoping to watch Kate find love on TV, think again; she has no plans to open up her love life on a 'Bachelorette'-type dating show.

"Kate has learned her lesson about love on camera," an insider tells me. "Any dates that she goes on will be strictly private with no cameras around. It's going to be hard enough to find a man who is willing to take on Kate plus her beautiful eight children; asking someone to do all that on camera is impossible."

Good luck, Kate. It's nice to know not everything you do is for public consumption.

Seriously, she said she's focused on the children & neglected herself?? Every picture I see of her she has a tan, fresh manicure and high heel shoes! Two of her children were expelled from school! LOL exactly. The only time I watched the show was at my stepmother's house and I could only handle five minutes of her browbeating Jon. She's a narcissistic shrew that does nothing but manipulate her kids and thinks the world revolves around her. Unfortunately, SOMEONE thinks that this cow is good television. Any man DUMB enough to even get within 10 feet of this witch is nuts and deserves what he gets.

I'm sorry...did that friend just say that Kate spent all of 2010 taking care of her kids and forgot about herself? HAHAHAHAHAHA Surely she jests.

If that's what she calls taking care of kids, perhaps she needs more than a man. Weren't 2 kids suspended? Aren't they ALL in therapy? Doesn't she verbally bash their father every chance she gets? Oh, yeah, she's a great mom.

Geeez. What a joke! At what point in 2010 did she spend any time thinking about her kids? Maybe during her trip to Mexico? Or while she was at the tanning salon? Or maybe while she was in NY getting her hair done? I know, it was while she was practicing and performing on DWTS. She spent NO time thinking about her kids. 2010 was all about her.

I hate to think what 2011 is going to look like for her children with Kate taking evem more time "for herself."
