Kelsey Grammer's Divorce Will Cost Him $50 Million

Kelsey Grammer's divorce from Camille Donatacci will cost the 55-year-old actor around $50 million.

According to TMZ, the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, which means all earnings during the marriage will be split down the middle. During their 13 years of marriage, the couple amassed a fortune in excess of $100 million, most of which is in real estate.

The couple has homes in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles, Malibu, Hawaii, the Hamptons, New York City and Colorado. The pair is said to be working out a financial settlement.

Donatacci is also entitled to a part of the back-end profits and syndication money from 'Cheers' and 'Frasier' that Kelsey makes. Grammer recently tried to block her access to his accounts.

It was reported yesterday that Grammer is asking for his divorce decree as soon as possible. Under California law, a divorce can become final six months after a petition is filed. Camille filed on July 1, 2010.

Should the judge grant Grammer's request, he can marry his girlfriend, Kayte Walsh, as soon as Jan. 1, 2011. Kelsey and Kayte recently got engaged, although Grammer's divorce is not yet finalized.

I have always liked him but I do not understand someone trying to hurry up and get a divorce that is costing him an immense amount of money to get married again. What the heck is the big rush? Think about it....or at least get an ironclad prenup this time.

I remember when he married her...he announced that this was forever and ther would not be a prenup. So much forever. He is an old horn dog looking for a young piece that could be his daughter and his lost youth. Wonder if he took his hair piece off...LOL As far as the divorce settlement...it will be decided by Cal. law and not by any of us. In case you are not aware, some prenups have been set aside by Cal. divorce courts.

WOW Frankly you are off base. A real gold digger would not have stayed with him this long. 13 years is a long time for a golddigger not to have moved on. She was there for him with his many health problems when she could have walked. Now that she is older he trades her in for a twit that is young enough to be his child. I see another big time heart attack in the near future. He is simply a hound dog sniffing for young p****. Also until you are a specialist in CA. divorce codes...you don't have a clue as to why the settlement.

Camille is a friend to a woman whom is able to speak to the dead and can tell the future. She was on the show at a dinner party. This redheaded drunk should have been able to tell Camille that she would be getting divorced and recieve 50 million. Camille is never seen with her kids. She is a true nutcase and I can see why he is out of there. As for the redheaded fortune teller she was such a lush and loser.
