Kelsey Grammer's Divorce Will Cost Him $50 Million

Kelsey Grammer's divorce from Camille Donatacci will cost the 55-year-old actor around $50 million.

According to TMZ, the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, which means all earnings during the marriage will be split down the middle. During their 13 years of marriage, the couple amassed a fortune in excess of $100 million, most of which is in real estate.

The couple has homes in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles, Malibu, Hawaii, the Hamptons, New York City and Colorado. The pair is said to be working out a financial settlement.

Donatacci is also entitled to a part of the back-end profits and syndication money from 'Cheers' and 'Frasier' that Kelsey makes. Grammer recently tried to block her access to his accounts.

It was reported yesterday that Grammer is asking for his divorce decree as soon as possible. Under California law, a divorce can become final six months after a petition is filed. Camille filed on July 1, 2010.

Should the judge grant Grammer's request, he can marry his girlfriend, Kayte Walsh, as soon as Jan. 1, 2011. Kelsey and Kayte recently got engaged, although Grammer's divorce is not yet finalized.

Camille is probably no walk in the park, but neither is Kelsey. I think the marriage got too "big" for Kelsey. And everytime the wife gets into business with the husband the marriage usually fails. Camille was not appealing to Kelsey anymore I think. But that Katye hooking up with Kelsey while he is still married. What the heck is she thinking? The whole thing is a mess. What else is new in Hollywood - lol...

From what I've seen of Camille on the Housewives of Beverly Hills - well it's not that flattering. However she was his wife for 13 years and has helped him build the wealth he has now so YES she deserves half! What annoys me about Kelsey is the fact that he left his two young children and it seems like he isn't even looking back. Thank God for all the nannies and house managers who will help raise them.

I do not care for this woman, never have. Shes a user in every way. Just because she was married to a man with lots of money, doesnt mean she should get half of his earnings.
Its these kinds of woman that give all good woman a bad name.
I wish kelsey all the very best of luck with his new girl friend, and I wished he would be more careful in the future with his money.
Just because we love someone, dont mean they cant sign a piece of paper.

I've never watched the show but read an article about this while I was at the Dr. office. She seemed totally blindsided by this and didn't mention any problems in their marriage. She seemed to be truly in love with her. I'm wondering what happened in such a short time that he is in such a hurry to get it over with? I wonder if he ever really loved her? Maybe seeing her on the show made him see her in a different light?

He's had plenty of baggage I do believe? Three marriages and didn't his second marriage end after he and his wife were heavily into cocaine?

I watched one clip from this show and honestly, why do people watch this garbage? These people are shallow, narrow minded, concieted, phony and living so far out of reality it's not even funny.

BTW, what makes her a gold digger? It's not like she asked out of this relationship and by all accounts it sounds like she would still very much like to have kept the relationship. Like I said I haven't watched the show and her personality may be akin to a blow up dall for all I know but she is entitled to half of everything he earned while they were married.
