While it paled in comparison to the bombshell-filled obits of 2009 (MJ, Swayze), it was still a rough year when it came to losing our beloved stars to the hereafter. True, there were older actors, musicians, artists and Hollywood luminaries whose time had simply come -- not that we won't terribly miss the likes of Barbara Billingsley, Tony Curtis and Leslie Nielsen. But there were also shockers, like the sudden fall of two child titans, Gary Coleman and Corey Haim, along with out-of-nowhere heartbreakers like Dixie Carter and two-thirds of the revered Redgrave family. As we flip over to a new year and go into reflecting mode, take a moment to remember many of the stars we've said goodbye to in 2010.

Corey Haim was a sad loss. I think the Hollywood Industry should really learn a lesson from how he was treated> Haim could have gone on to being a successful adult actor, if mentored by someone who had really cared about him.

I have to agree. I cannot stand those fake people in Hollywood who can care less about you while you're breathing. But, once you're pushing up daisies, they act like they are so sorry or worst, act like they were friends with the deceased. It was the same way with Gary Coleman. All the fakes came out of the woodwork once he was gone.
Corey had potential to make it big again. I think Corey F. was on of the only non-relatives who truly cared about him. They had their fallouts but they were still close.
If you don't want to be sober, you won't be. It isn't up to someone to "care" someone into sobriety. Even Corey had someone that loved and cared about him.
With all due respect to those friends, family and fans that loved him and may he rest in peace, but he was an addict. No person would invest millions in someone who was as rectless as he was. Someone tried to give him a reality show and you see how that turned out. No one is to blame for Corey's downward spiral, but himself and the drugs he chose to take. His friend Cory had a similar up bringing and relationship with drugs, but he chose to get his life on track. We all have choices. When we are young we don't think out mortality, our future or even the ones that love us sometimes.
I wonder if she was added later because our beloved Lady Tee was first in this list. How'd you miss her?I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via agelessk'iss.c'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends.. Just love it
Rest in peace, Fess Parker, you're the greatest! Also, Barbara Billingsley and of course Jimmy Dean, who was my favorite of Daniel's sidekicks!

Pernell Roberts, you will always be one of the very, very special reasons that Bonanza was such a wonderful television show. May you find peace throughout eternity...you were loved, you will always be loved.

Bonnaza......now there is a joke.....4 jew cowboys and hop sing......on the Ranch.....in Hollywood!!!!
The loss of Pernell Roberts and his contributions and talents are sorely missed.
The imbecile who "criticized" Bonanza and resorted to cultural slander in his thankfully brief missive reminds us all that morons can be found under any rock of ignorance ... occasionally oozing out to spew their stupidity from the anus firmly affixed to their face.

Dio, One of Rock and Roll's Greatest singers!!!

Amen brother. Dio was one of rock musics true originals.
Also, RIP to Harvey Pekar. Another truly original voice.
I would also be remiss if I didn't mention how much I will miss Dennis Hopper.
Paul Gray of Slipknot also died this year. I do not see him in this anywhere!
