Kelsey Grammer: I'm in Love With Fiancee Kayte Walsh

Kelsey Grammer doesn't want you to believe anything you hear about the reasons he's marrying fiancee Kayte Walsh -- unless it comes from him.

"Kayte and I are marrying because we are engaged, and we are engaged because we are in love and see no reason to postpone our happiness any longer," Grammer told PEOPLE, in response to rumors he wants a quick divorce from estranged wife Camille to hasten his upcoming marriage.

"We are planning something we wish to be a private affair among several of our friends. Anything else is conjecture and false. Kayte and I are the only reliable source for this story. End of story," the actor added.

The 55-year-old 'Frasier' star and Walsh, 29, announced their engagement in early December -- even though his divorce hasn't been finalized.

Meanwhile, Grammer stands to lose $50 million in his split from 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Camille.

don't care how awful your wife (yes, the one you are actually married to) appears on RHOBH, you have no excuse for being a CHEATER and i hope she does take you tot he cleaners. your fiancees family must be so proud of their daughter having an affair with a creepy old man...oh, yeah, he's rich and famous so i guess it doesn't matter. i'm certainly not paying any money to see k. grammer in any show.

I wish you the best of luck. I think that Camille is as fake as her breast. She has no substance to her a womans life has to revolve around more than her husband. She is a flake she thinks everything is about her. I love the real house wifes but she is the only one who is on there simply because of who she is married too. I gather that they both met when they were getting their live back together. They had a co-dependant relationship she met him after rehab and he met her the same way. A relationship should have more then that. She is a pretty girl but what else is she?
