In one of the most hilarious accusation of plagiarism ever, an intrepid YouTuber has compiled evidence that a portion of the Usher song 'OMG' was actually inspired by a Christmas carol penned by none other than Homer Simpson. Yes, that Homer Simpson. The one from the TV show 'The Simpsons.'Homer's festive song aired during the 14th season in 2003 and goes like this: "Christmas in December / Wow wow wow / Gimme tons of presents / Now now now."
Even better, though, is that the oh-so-sophisticated Usher lyrics sound like Homer could've written them too. "Honey got a booty like / Pow pow pow / Honey got some boobies like / Wow oh wow." Listen to the song mash-up after the jump and you be the judge.

They may have a point...

I know this article is facetious, but wouldn't it be good to mention who wrote the song in the article?
Will.I.Am wrote OMG and produced it.

And the Black Eyed Peas and will.i.am. are notorious for knocking off little parts from various songs,Hoping that no one will notice the addition.
Way to go, you did it again.

Hmmmm, about the oh-so-sophisticated lyrics...I dont see your album on the charts, or...anywhere for that matter.

Doesn't matter...they suck. They ALWAYS suck. These guys have the songwriting skills of a deaf second grader.
What a shock, huh? Nobody puts any EFFORT into writing good songs these days. Why should Usher or will.i.am be any different?

And THAT'S why they call him Usher- he's ushering in a whole new era of garbage "music".
Well, I've been fortunate enough to have never heard of Won't I Ain't nor the song, and frankly couldn't care less. But if my wife will fix me a few more martinis like this one, I think I may continue that good fortune.

Figures. I like Usher, but Will.I .Am is known to plagiarize all the damn time. Just last month he was accused of plagiarizing from the theme to "Dirty Dancing". Takes too much effort for him to ask for permission.

And your point is? OMG isn't opera you know, what do you expect? Who cares.

Definitely plagiarizing Homer's song.

ALL rappers rip off the old stuff! (that's how they stay in business!) - there's NO originality, these days! :(
