►Kanye Joins Twitter
Racking up more than 222,000 followers in less than 24 hours, Kanye West joined the legions of other celebrities on Twitter. But unlike the others, he wrote nearly 50 posts on day one. Since then, Kanye has continued to use the social media outlet to vent about everything from his recent 'Today' interview with Matt Lauer to his love for orange juice and ninajs. West and Justin Bieber even connected via Twitter eventually waxing about a collaboration between themselves and Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon.



►Conan'sTwitter Empire
Conan O'Brien joined Twitter in late February, following that whole 'Late Night' debacle. It took just seven tweets in as many days to garner half a million followers. This helped up the excitement for his return to television and garnered spinoff Twitters for his squirrel, his beard, his ATM card and his Sharpie. He even bypassed the old-school press release to break the news of the aptly-dubbed 'Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour.' "Hey Internet: I'm headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour," he wrote, adding, "I repeat: It's half-assed."

►Kim Kardashian Is Such a Tease
Okay, maybe this isn't exactly news, but Kim Kardashian is the Twitter master of 2010 (and beyond). She's able to really connect with her fans while still being such a tease when it comes to showing off her assets and her FABULOUS life. The reality star spent much of the year uploading sexy photos of herself, barely fazed by the negative feedback she received after posing with a cat for one shoot. From oiled up photo shoots to laser hair removal sessions, Kim is a pretty candid BFF with her 5.4 million+ followers.


►David Arquette Parties His Troubles Away
David Arquette, who separated from wife Courteney Cox in November, didn't seem too heartbroken when he partied in Miami just weeks later. He documented all of the fun on Twitter and proved he had no trouble cozying up to beautiful women, hitting nightclubs with his pals and making a quick trip to a tattoo parlor, where he got a picture of his grandfather inked onto his arm.

►Angelina Jolie Joins Twitter
Yes, Angelina Jolie finally signed up for a Twitter account. Sadly, it turns out the 'Salt' actress isn't planning on Tweeting anytime soon. In fact, she's locked her account and isn't following anyone.

►Paris Hilton Tweets Robbery
In August, Paris Hilton awoke to find a knife-wielding man attempting to enter her home in Los Angeles. She called police and the unidentified intruder was arrested. The socialite alerted her followers on Twitter about the near break-in and posted a photo of the arrest in her courtyard. "So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes," she said. "Cops are here arresting [him]."

►Courtney Love Shares Way Too Much
Courtney Love, who once vowed to quit Twitter after accidentally posting raunchy pictures meant for her boyfriend on her public account, uploaded a series of new photos which show her reclining half-naked on a chair, flashing her butt and one showing her kissing a girl while they both flash the camera. Courtney Love posted 11 pictures in total, showing off new shoes in the rest.



►Justin Bieber Tweets Phone Number
"Everyone call me 248-XXX-XXXX :) or text," Justin Bieber tweeted to his 6.1 million+ followers. Unfortunately, it belonged to one unlucky Detroit teen. Bieber's dedicated fans began calling and texting the mystery number in droves. It seems the unsuspecting teen had it coming after attempting to hack into an account belonging to Ryan Butler, a friend of Bieber's, to retrieve the pop star's phone number.

And finally ... a moment of silence for those celebs who've quit Twitter: John Mayer, Miley Cyrus, Monica, Demi Lovato and Amanda Bynes.
