Report: Marc Anthony Owes $3.4 Million in Taxes

Marc Anthony is having a bit of trouble with the tax man. According to a report from RadarOnline.com, the 'I Need to Know' singer owes New York State more than $3.4 million in taxes for his real estate in Nassau County, Long Island.

A federal tax lien for $1.6 million was placed on the property a year ago and three months later, a $1.8 million lien was placed on the same property by New York.

This isn't the first time Anthony has had tax issues. Back in 2007, he was slapped with a $2.5 million bill after delaying payment for four years.

According to PEOPLE, Anthony and his wife Jennifer Lopez together rake in a total of roughly $31 million annually.

Neither Anthony or his lawyer were reached for comment on whether or not the taxes have been paid back or not.

oh how sickening. These 2 divas are a joke. Lopez THINKS she is so great. I don't see it. The dancing is high school gym style and her vocals are so boring and studio manufactured.

These 2 should pay their taxes like everyone else. Who do they think they are.

How is it, the average joe can't get away with paying taxes. ( majority) But yet these stars who have millions and millions, dont pay...so what they go to jail at the most..do they still pay? you can do anything you want when your rich and/or famous..drugs, dui's,ect...bs if you ask me

What can I add to these angry posts? Nothing, because I agree with all who think the super-rich and stupid "celebrities" get away with murder on their taxes. They should all have to pay up. Getting a discount ala Willie Nelson is not fair either. What they don't pay makes us all suffer in the long, and short, run.

Isn't Marc Anthony Puerto Rican? Well, IF he is, then he is not used to having to pay US taxes because Puerto Rico has one of those deals where they screw the rest of us blind. They get all the benefits of being American except they don't pay any taxes in exchange for not being able to vote (which half of stupid Americans don't bother doing anyway!). This ultra-rich prick needs to pay his God-damned taxes.
