Report: Marc Anthony Owes $3.4 Million in Taxes

Marc Anthony is having a bit of trouble with the tax man. According to a report from RadarOnline.com, the 'I Need to Know' singer owes New York State more than $3.4 million in taxes for his real estate in Nassau County, Long Island.

A federal tax lien for $1.6 million was placed on the property a year ago and three months later, a $1.8 million lien was placed on the same property by New York.

This isn't the first time Anthony has had tax issues. Back in 2007, he was slapped with a $2.5 million bill after delaying payment for four years.

According to PEOPLE, Anthony and his wife Jennifer Lopez together rake in a total of roughly $31 million annually.

Neither Anthony or his lawyer were reached for comment on whether or not the taxes have been paid back or not.

I don't care what kind of tax it is. These people think they are above the law. Anyone with any so called popularity thinks they are better than anyone. Pay your dame taxes.

jennie from the bronx the pitiful name she uses was not a poor child from the bronx. she had two parents that worked and lived in a pretty nice neighborhood in their own house. she went to catholic bronx schools, grammar and high schools and i know how much her high school tuition cost. it is a very private catholic school. her old schools have asked her to possibly provide a scholarship in her name to a poorer child and she has not answered them. and she wants everyone to think she grew up poor. not so.

Let's just hope he doesn't give his kids away to some drug lord and pretend they were abducted and make a secret deal with the drug lord to pay him monies owed and then find out the drug lord killed his kid and then Mark kills himself because he thinks his kids are really dead but they really didn't kill his kids and the nanny ends up having to be traded for the kid and die...

Well if you cant jail him just dont attend any of his concerts or by his cologne, or jeans, or support his wife on the TV show, etc etc etc. Jail him pyschologically and finacially. Just goes to show you... everybody needs to live within their own means. Can't believe these people not knowing how to live within a budget. What do they think? Marc Anthony is one of the best voices in own time! He is VOCALIST he is not entertainer! He have a God given talent, but like every average american you know only gossip but music - not at all!He did not calculated the taxes owed because he is a vocalist, he is not an accountant. So much hate and so little wit or knowledge. He probably does not even know how to move his money. This procedure is simple - when taxes are no calculated correctly - this is the procedure.

some Shakira and some Iglesius ayyyyyyyy pure man, how much exactly you wish from shakira and from iglesiAs You want someone you humming, obviously if someone really sing, they tease. Jennifer is just a show queen, show very talented lady. Marc Anthony is a real vocalist, unlike Enrique Iglesias and Shakira, who sing well, but within their profession - just as part of the show.
