Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Give $2 Million to Namibian Wildlife Sanctuary

The holidays may be over, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still in a giving mood.

The philanthropic pair are giving a whopping $2 million to the animal sanctuary in Namibia where the couple spent Christmas with their six kids, the Associated Press reports (via The Huffington Post).

The couple made their donation to the Naankuse Lodge and Wildlife Sanctuary in Namibia, the country in which their 4-year-old daughter, Shiloh, was born.

In a statement released by Jolie, the actress said of their donation, which was made in Shiloh's name, "We want her to be very involved and grow up with the understanding of her country of birth."

Jolie and Pitt regularly contribute to humanitarian causes and non-profit organizations, including Doctors Without Borders and Global Action for Children, through the Jolie/Pitt foundation, founded in 2006.

The couple and their children spent the holidays at the Namibian sanctuary caring for and feeding orphaned animals.

Jolie says of their time spent at Naankuse Lodge, "We continue to be impressed by their hard work and dedication to the people and conservation of the land and wildlife of Namibia."

They should be ashamed? The women who keeps having children and can't afford them are the ones who should be ashamed. It is not Angie and Brad's responsibility to feed the children of irresponsible mothers. Brad and Angie work for their money and are entitled to spend it on whatever they want.

your right..it is not thier responsibility to help mothers having babies they cant afford...but since when is it the babies/kids fault?? Talking about feeding kids who are homeless, why does it matter about the mothers?? these kids need help....that is all that matters. kids with no parents or homes...that is what we are talking about here..the ones who have no say on where they live and all that.....help them....stop using the mothers as a reason NOT to help them

The media reports what they want. I'm not even a huge fan of those two, but they are great philanthropists. They have donated millions - and personal time, not just a check - to rebuilding homes in the US amongst other things. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE.

Helping endangered wildlife is an important and noble cause and I applaud anyone who steps up to do it. Certainly Brad and Angelina have supported their fair share of humanitarian causes at home and abroad as well. What have you people done lately?

Brad & Angie want nothing to do with the USA. They adopt from other countries, make sure that their biological children are not born here & live outside the USA Please I think we get the point. And yes I think they are weird.
