Ex-'Housewife' Dina Manzo Returning to TV

Dina Manzo may have walked off 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' but her TV career is far from over. With a project in the works, Manzo is excited to return to TV. "You'll see my face pop up on TV in the near future. I'm working on something very exciting, but it's not reality TV," she slyly tells PopEater.

Manzo, who admits she's "happier than ever" since quitting the franchise, still roots for her former castmates. "I love them all. They're great. The show just wasn't for me. I'm a private person," she revealed at Bravo's New Year's Eve party in New York.

Ringing in the New Year, Manzo, a self-described "workaholic," said her resolution is to let loose and start having more fun.

"I am always so goal-oriented and serious. I want to stop and smell the roses, live in the moment and enjoy life," she says.

Dina looks like a Christmas tree here. I stopped watching the show when she left and can't stand to watch that druggie Danielle Stubb. She ruined the show.

It's exactly why I left the state years ago!

I for one love Dina, and think I may watch whatever it is. She started a chairity for children with Cancer, she kept her head on straight, and she walked away with grace. I think slamming what she is wearing is crappy, that is not the point of the STORY.

Dina's outfit was for a wonderful Morrocan themed event which she hosted at the Brownstone. More than 1200 women attended and the money raised was to construct an indoor playground for a pediatric floor at St. Joseph's Hospital. It was a spectacular affair!

New Jersey Housewives are an act that was hard to top! Hard hitting, trash talking, Jersey ' tinsle town' Italians who could naturally follow a trash mouthed script with out haveing to look at it. They all played out their parts well -- so well that the TV viewers thought it was all real and un-rehearsed! Little do they know. Danielle Staub kept things hopping as her prior background taught her well !
