Kim Kardashian Debuts Her First Single

PopEater's Celebrity of the Year 2010 Kim Kardashian debuted her new single for club goers during a New Year's Eve celebration at TAO in Las Vegas.

The track, written by accomplished songwriter The-Dream, is reportedly titled 'Turn It Up,' and features a bass-heavy beat perfect for the dance floor. Before playing the newly released tune for the crowd, she offered a brief intro.

"Hi you guys, I didn't mean to, but I did this song with The-Dream, and it's really fun," she said. "I hope you guys like it!"

Kim shot a video for the song last week in Los Angeles, possibly with her new cornrows hairstyle. Famed director Hype Williams manned the camera while Kanye West made a cameo. There's no word yet on whether West will solely serve as Kardashian's co-star in the video or if he'll supply a verse on the song as well. Listen to Kim's 'Turn It Up' after the jump.

Kim revealed her New Year resolution early in December when Us Weekly reported that during an appearance on 'The Rachael Ray Show,' Kardashian told Ray that her 30th year is the right time for her to embrace the single life.

"I've made a promise to myself and I'm really trying hard to stick to it, but I'm such a hopeless romantic that it's hard," she told Ray. "I want to try to be single my whole year of being 30."

IS SHE SERIOUS? This is a POOR attempt at music, because it's IMMATURE, repetitious, and you CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HECK SHE IS SAYING. Kim K is another Paris Hilton who does nothing but parade around and get her picture taken. These girls are going to have a meltdown when their looks begin to fade. Can't she contribute more to society than just posing for pictures and doing bad music and poor tv programs. People are getting sick of watching how self absorbed she and other girls are.

Anytime you hear electronic music sounds with someones voice you know they are trying to cover up something. In this case probably her sour notes. At least the girl doesn't appear to be doing drugs, which can't be said for many of the no talents these days.

For people who claim to hate the woman so much, you seem to have a knack for stumbling upon pages about her. The jealousy and hatred are utterly pathetic. Yes, this song is horrible and the family's crude, but no one's pointing a gun at your head.
