Macaulay Culkin spent his holidays home alone, but this time, it was no laughing matter. Culkin has split from his girlfriend of eight years, actress Mila Kunis.

The pair, who began dating in 2002, have reportedly been broken up for some time, although they've kept the split quiet while Kunis, 27, promotes 'Black Swan.'

According to Kunis' rep, "The split was amicable, and they remain close friends."

Culkin, 30, who was briefly married to actress Rachel Miner before becoming involved with Kunis, has kept a relatively low profile in recent years, taking on only a few acting projects each year.
