Check Out Shania Twain's Picture-Perfect Wedding!

A new year brings about big changes, and for Shania Twain that means a new husband!

The 45-year-old singer married her sweetheart, Frederic Thiebaud, in Rincon, Puerto RIco, on Jan. 1.

Thiebaud, who proposed with a 3-carat ring by Lorraine Schwartz a few months before the nuptials, wore a white suit with a black shirt underneath, which matched his bride's white and black-accented dress.

The bride, who found her gown at a boutique in Lausanne, Switzerland, was accompanied to the altar by her 9-year-old son, Eja.

Twain wrote on her blog of Thiebaud, "I'm in love! Frederic has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend. Over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship," Us Weekly reports.

The sunset ceremony was shot by photographer Robert Evans, who also photographed the wedding of Tom Cruise and
Katie Holmes, as well as Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's 2005 ceremony.

The wedding marked the beginning of a new chapter for the couple, both of whom were devastated when they learned that their spouses were having an affair with one another.

Twain divorced her husband, music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, in 2008 after 14 years of marriage when she learned of his relationship with Frederic's now ex-wife, Marie-Anne.

Mutt and Marie-Anne are both unattractive. I can't believe he wanted her over Shania. Her new relationship is a bit unusual, but I wish them both the best. He is a fine looking man.

Let's have some fun with this now. Top picture with the men standing under the arbor. What are they doing? Hands on their hip as in a moment of frustration. Clothes (friends and family) and the clothes they are wearing? For a wedding? This girl is proper and dos EVERYTHING to perfection. Everybody knows that. Shania is an exact science.

Secondly, what does a cameraman ALWAYS SAY 'Shania and Fred, smile for the camera and your friends'. 'No really, seriously, smile for your fans'. What do they do? They walk down the beach LOOKING DOWN and giggling.

Something isn't right. I have heard Shania has used 'body and face doubles' for photo shoots, video's and maybe even concerts. To smile for the camera their cameraman would not be doing his/her job if they did not get the right picture especially for the biggest moment of their adult life right now?

What's that smell.....smells fishy to me?

Sounds like the makings of a song but anyway congrats Shania you deserve to be happy and you both look awesome!!!!!!

I agree except I gave it 5 years, because they both will lose ALOT OF FACE if it fails before then.

I love that girl. If it was my wedding WITH SHANIA, she would be in my arms; I would be swinging her around on the beach and WE would be dancing like fools. Shortly thereater our wedding clothes would be absolutely saturated from the sea water because I would carry her down and we would frolick like a couple of school kids in the water.

That girl ALWAYS made my heart go flutter, unfortunately 'she left my heart in Puerto Rico'.....

Congrats Shania and Frederic! It already looks like this marriage has a terrific start. Her first husband was basicall a recluse and sometimes (not saying in her case exactly) when one person is more social that the other, it's hard for the more social person to enjoy themselves. She would frequently be photographed alone and that's not what being married is all about. When you are a couple, be photographed as a couple!

They did NOT get married over night, they have had time to figure out it's more then just a "transitional" (However u spell it) relationship. Notice how they have kept thier lives very low key? From what i hear Shania is always gracious, and very nice when she meets the public. She deserves to be happy!! Both thier ex's are butt UGLY, and deserve eachother!!
