No Engagement for Christina Aguilera ...Yet

She may have gotten a new ring from boyfriend Matt Rutler, but there's no engagement to report for newly divorced Christina Aguilera.

The 'Burlesque' star, who turned 30 on Dec. 18, received a ring from Rutler for her birthday, but it's not what you think.

"It's not an engagement ring and they're not engaged," a source told PEOPLE. The ring was apparently a surprise for Aguilera.

While there's no wedding in the works just yet, the singer and her new beau have been spending a lot of time together, and with family members, including Aguilera's mom, brother and sister.

Rutler also got some bonding action recently with Aguilera's son, Max, when the three visited the Peterson Automotive Museum in LA for some fun.

"It seems very important to Christina that Max gets along with Matt," according to the source.

So far, things seem to be going well for the pair. Rutler has been spending the majority of his time at Aguilera's Beverly Hills home.

I saw her on the Conan show. She looks pregnant again or maybe she just put on some pounds. I couldn't really tell since she is so short hard to tell. She sings just like a soul sista.

Oh please why don't they just get it over with. Obviously she & Mr. "Irreconcilable Differences" have been involved with each other since they met during the making of Burlesque, which was many many months before this relationship became public. What a sham.

So let me get this straight - she gave an interview to People where she said she was devastated by the breakup, couldn't get out of bed, was depressed, etc. Are you kidding me?

Funny how they call Angelina Jolie a homewrecker - Brad had no kids in his marriage; but people like LeAnn Rimes (who broke up a marriage with 2-3 kids) and Xtina (she has a kid - does the new guy?) get off with no criticism. I don't get it.
