Elton John Is Biological Father of Baby With Husband David Furnish

Sir Elton John has been named as the father on the birth certificate for his new son Zachary, ending speculation as to whether he or husband David Furnish is the biological father of the little boy, born by a surrogate mother.

"Elton really wanted the child to have his genes," a friend of the singer tells me. "He has a god-given talent and wanted to pass that one to a child. And after years of discussion and thought, Elton and David decided together that Elton's sperm would be used."

The couple chose to have their baby in California because it is the only place in the world where a couple using a surrogate are considered its legal parents even when the baby is still in the womb.

"As the little boy grows it will become obvious that Elton is the biological dad," an insider predicts.

Zachary was born weighing 7 lbs., 15 oz. via a surrogate mother in California on Christmas Day. This is the first child for John, 62, and Furnish, 48. The couple married in 2005 after being together for 12 years.

My source says the couple's son is already living like royalty. "Elton has already purchased a $2 million adjoining apartment in Los Angeles to turn into the perfect nursery. Elton's son already has four round-the-clock nannies and his own chef. This little boy is going to want for nothing except a mom."

Sources tell me the couple carefully selected the surrogate mother and egg donor insisting she sign over legal documents to ensure her identify will never be revealed.

Can someone of the Bible Professors out there take me to a scripture that says that the sperm of a man , any man, cannot be inserted "InVitro" or otherwise into a Woman and then the product of which, cannot be taken over by a person, any person and raised like the child of Soloman at the risk of spending eyternity in a hell , any hell....Is there such a scripture..?? Hey Mr. Hinn , Mr. Robertson and all your little sheep... can you take me to that scripture... Nnd please don't take me to any other scripture that would even talk about homosexuality... Just the one that takes in this process. I suggest that there isn't one.

Sorry that some of you out there just don't seem to "get it". Being gay has never been "normal", no matter how many times, ways, means, words, terms, etc you use to twist it. When 2 men have to still resort to utilizing a woman to create a child for themselves - well - that tels you right then and there that homosexuality is not the "normal" way of doing things - of anything! It goes against the obvious "order of nature" - if it was "right", then 2 men should be able to produce a child between themselves - right? Give me a freakin break, stop pretending when you KNOW it's wrong, and let's just all move on already.

PS - and ever since I found out in my early 20's that Elton John was bi/gay, I stopped listening to/buying his music. Can't stand to hear him sing about "love", when all the while he's crooning about some guy in a dark alley somewhere for some wild stuff that is abnormal.....

Some guys are just not attracted to women, and vice versa.
It is what it is, it's been that way through time....deal with it.
I have a couple of friends who have gay parents, and they turned out about as normal as everyone else, heterosexual & married & kids. The math is there.

Was it really necessary to point out in the article that they used his "sperm"? Gross!!!! Blah, not only is that a totally messed up visual, it only confirms my total disgust for gays! Poor kid to have been born with 2 sperm wielding dads.... money can't fix that!
