Julia Roberts Campaigns for Javier Bardem Oscar Nod

Let the Oscar campaigning continue. This time around, it's Hollywood golden girl Julia Roberts calling out her 'Eat, Pray, Love' co-star Javier Bardem to receive a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his role in the Spanish-language film 'Biutiful.'

Though Bardem was passed over for Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe nominations, Roberts had some Oscar-fightin' words while chatting with EW.

"If there's not hope for talent, then we're f***ed," she said when asked if there was any hope for a Bardem Oscar nod.

"He's so raw and completely open to sharing every emotion this character has," Roberts said. "I think it's unexpected for a man to expose himself so deeply. And it's incredibly agonizing in its subtleties. I just have a great appreciation for what he went through to show us all this. I know it had to hurt."

Roberts and Bardem shared the screen this year with another likely Best Actor nominee: James Franco. When asked who she would root for should the two go head to head at this year's big show, Roberts was in a seemingly tight spot.

"Oh God, don't put me in that position! It's apples and oranges," she said. "He's hosting the Oscars, so he might have an edge."

We'll just have to wait and see -- the 83rd Annual Academy Awards will take place Feb. 27.

We all know that when any of the actors that Julia has had sex with, but never married, are "up" for best actor, she cannot seem to contain herself. If she wasn't engaged or didn't marry them, then she wants them to get an Oscar for their performance in her life :)
