'Twilight,' Johnny Depp Top People's Choice Awards

At the 2011 People's Choice Awards presented last night, the award for Favorite Movie went to 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,' which also won the award for Favorite Drama Movie.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were all in attendance to accept the award in person, to cheers from the rapturous audience. 'Eclipse' has also been shortlisted for the 2011 Razzies in the Worst Picture category.

Johnny Depp won the award for Favorite Movie Actor for his roles in 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'The Tourist.' The crowd was thrilled to see that Depp took the time out of his busy schedule to attend the ceremony, and gave the popular actor a standing ovation for his surprise appearance.

The Favorite Movie Actress award, meanwhile, went to Stewart, who told the surprised crowd that she and her co-stars had been filming the final 'Twilight' film, 'Breaking Dawn,' earlier in the day before rushing to the ceremony.

The win was especially nice for Stewart, considering she previously had been passed over for the Favorite Movie Star Under 25 award in favor of surprise winner Zac Efron.

Efron and his girlfriend of four years, Vanessa Hudgens, recently broke up after the pair recognized that their relationship "wasn't going to go further."

Twilight Saga 'Eclipse" was excellent and so are all the stars who played in it! Robert should have won best actor award, Johnny and movie 'Alice in Wonderland' sucked. I really like Johnny but not in this movie. Call us Twilight lovers parasites huh? You must love the blood, gore and ugly fangs. I'm thinking that you are the parasite!

Vampires are suppose to be about blood and fangs. They were never meant to sparkle like a disco ball in the sun and pout their lips in an appearance of constipation to look brooding. The only reason Twilight and Kristen won anything is because they have a horde of crazy children, bored housewives, and impressionable teens behind them.

Not all of us like all that blood and gore, will not watch stuff like that! Whats wrong with love and romance and caring about others by the way and nice vampires? One good thing - no have to watch it if you just prefer gruesome. Note: Eclipse and Kristen WON because they deserved it!
