It started with one of the biggest stars of the night. Kim Kardashian ditched her standard one-shouldered body-hugging mini-dress for, well, a body-hugging strapless dress covered in delicate gold foil by Catherine Malandrino. (Guess she didn't care that Drew Barrymore and Mary J. Blige have already stepped out in the exact same frock, although longer versions.)

Sister Kourtney Kardashian also went for the gold (and strapless), albeit a less glitzy version. The 31-year-old reality star and new mother, who recently told OK! Magazine that she's currently in the best shape of her life, showed off her post-baby bod in a burnished gold dress that was partially obscured by a thick cream-colored scribble-pattern overlay.
