Raven-Symone Debuts Dramatic Weight Loss

Raven-Symone flaunted her slimmer figure at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards. Wearing a cleavage-baring outfit, the actress admits she's still insecure.

"Actually, now I wear bigger clothes because I don't like the way people stare at me," she tells PEOPLE.

"I liked it before. Now, you're just looking at me for the wrong reasons. Before, you were actually looking at me for a real reason."

The 'That's So Raven' actress faced much criticism for her weight, but she has never understood why.

"I thought I looked fabulous before and nobody else did," she says. "So, whatever."

The former 'Cosby Show' star adds that the stress she endured during her Disney Channel show was the reason she packed on the pounds.

"That's what stress does to you," Symone says. "I've been not stressing. I've been in my own house, decorating and finding hobbies."

Raven is the perfect role model for young women of today. Tramps like Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilson, Miley Cirus have despicable behaviors. I can't even consider them women, because of the way they carry themselves. It is not lady-like. Raven has all the qualities of an intelligent, beautiful and hard-working young woman, not to mention rich. I am so glad that she is not in the tabloids like others (mentioned above). She looks great!!

Raven is beautiful at any size. She is an excellent example for girls who have body image issues. Raven is a true testament to what can be achieved at any size! Being healthy is key.

If she lost weight (which I can't really tell from the pic) then good for Raven, because no matter how many big girls say they are fine with being overweight & try and convince people that they are, most don't really mean it. It's just a mechanism that they use to try and make them feel better about themselves, like the mask that they use to hide their sadness. And don't take this as being mean, because it's not meant to be.
