'Real Housewives' Star Phaedra Parks: 'What You See on Camera Is a Character'

Phaedra Parks is many things: a lawyer, wife, mother and now one of the stars of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta.' But she admits what you see on TV isn't necessarily the way she is in real life.

"What you see on the camera is a character, so I sometimes don't feel it's who I am as a person," she tells PopEater.

Parks also explains why she wanted to do the show. "I thought it would be a great challenge." Watch Our Interview Below.

How does she balance her extremely busy life? "It's just effective time management. It's just prioritizing what's important," she explains.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' airs Sundays on Bravo at 10PM.

If you say "...that's not really me," on what is suppose to be a "Reality" show, then the whole concept of the show is a fraud - and we've been had. Hey TV Executives! How about paying some professional actors, writers, etc. to do a actual scripted show? Who knows, people may start watching television again.
