Leading up to the release of her new single, 'Hold It Against Me,' Britney Spears has been hinting and winking at her legions of fans, but she's kept a surprisingly tight lid on the single itself. Sure, the demo dropped last week, but unlike countless other artists, Spears had been able to keep the final version under wraps -- until now.
A day ahead of its official release, 'Hold It Against Me' has found its way online, and it seems Spears has yet another big hit on her hands.
Enjoy it while you can!
The song is produced by unstoppable hitmakers Max Martin and Dr. Luke. Martin is a Spears stalwart, having written and/or produced her hits '...Baby One More Time,' 'If You Seek Amy' and her most recent No. 1 hit, '3.'
Having had an unbelievable 2010, Dr. Luke is among the biggest producers in music right now. If you are a Katy Perry fan, you can pretty much thank Luke, who produced, ahem, 'I Kissed a Girl,' 'Hot N Cold,' 'California Gurls' and 'Teenage Dream.' His work on Perry's 'Teenage Dream' album earned him an Album of the Year Grammy nomination.
He and Martin are longtime collaborators, joining forces to produce hits for Kelly Clarkson ('My Life Would Suck Without You'), Pink ('Who Knew'), T.I. ('That's All She Wrote') and Ke$ha ('Kiss N Tell').
The demo version of Spears' 'Hold It Against Me,' with vocals by singer/songwriter Bonnie McKee, found its way onto the Internet late last week. The bass-thumping, synth-heavy dance track features lyrics like, "If I said my heart was beating loud, if we could escape the crowd somehow / If I said I want your body now, would you hold it against me? / 'Cause you feel like paradise and I need a vacation tonight / So if I said I want your body now, would you hold it against me?"
Her music has not grown one iota. Need for new material, producers? Maybe try another reality show? The talent just isn't there for singing. How about a new perfume to hack on one of the TV product sales networks. Or maybe a lifetime movie. I'm trying here, help me out. She needs a new career.
Sounds like every song she does. Horribly over engineered!!! Does this chick even have a voice? She sound like a throat cancer patient singing through an artificial voice box. I'm sick of every one ripping off Cher!!!
She is now and always has been a Disney "FORMULA" artist. Pre packaged, prerecorded, just add meat and viola! another shake N bake dance song. They even screwed that up this time. That cord progression and rhythm change in the middle, just cleared the dance floor. Sorry Brit, I'd rather watch your porn. Stick to what your good at.
wow, i can't believe so many people are so mean. brit's still got it. as always, her music is rockin'! i'm definitely going to be buying the new single tonight as soon as it drops as well as the new album when it's released. for the people calling britney's loyal fans fools, you need to get over yourselves. you only wish you were half as talented as she is.
Yes it dose sound like all the others, sry brit love ya! Boo you should probably change some of the folks your working with, sounds a bit "Kesha"> Time for a reinvention after your intervention! Depending on the other tracks i may not buy boo! and i have all your music!
What the F...k the beat is great although its borrowed from a few other songs, but eh who does not do that. The singer is one toned and sounds like a first rate Disney reject. Brit, like your past songs and Kev really fkd u over -- but its no reason to produce rubbish. Time to retire.
Maybe the Leave Britney alone should be ((Leave us alone)) lpl
i don't know, man...she looks really cute in some pics but in others she looks downright ugly...scary, almost...some of these pics she looks all drugged-out with the dark circles and whatnot...and I think she hits 30 either this year or next...it's going to be funny when she's 40 and old and ugly as hell...
This is awful. The beat of the music is so repetitive that it borders on annoying. It's like the same three second music loop playing continuously for the duration of the song. This is such a disappointment. Circus was better than this, she should of kept to her own style instead of trying to be like Lady Gaga and all the other club artists out there. Britney's music was never intended to be played in the club scene and it's an awful style for her to try to take on. Hopefully the rest of her album will be better, I am hoping for a good ballad.
its not that bad guys!! Im 32- and a total 80's fan..THAT ERA was real music...BUT give Britney some credit! She's not horrible, she can dance her butt off, she has a good figure w 2 kids..who cares. let her be and do her thing. I think the songs good to work out to!
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos

this is extremely bad and it sounds like any other song on the radio: unoriginal, shallow, and void of talent.
