Source: Scarlett 'Devastated' by Ryan and Sandra's Budding Romance

By now, everyone has heard about the rumored romance between Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. That includes the actor's soon-to-be ex-wife, Scarlett Johansson, who, I'm told by friends, isn't too happy.

"Scarlett is a deeply private person, who during her entire marriage was only ever seen and photographed with her husband a handful of times," a friend of the actress tells me. "Now, less than a month after they split that fool has gone and got himself photographed with [Bullock] on New Year's Eve of all days. Of course she is devastated."

Images showed up just over a week ago of Sandra and Ryan celebrating New Year's together at Bess Bistro, which Sandra owns in Texas, depicting the actress dressed as a flapper. A source at the time told me that the two were leaning on each other for support.

Bullock's rep has insisted they are "nothing more than friends." But sources told RadarOnline.com on Monday that the pair are "very much dating" and that they've even made a trip or two to her Jackson Hole, Wyo., getaway.

No one is suggesting that Sandra, who has clearly moved on from her split with Jesse James, had anything to do with Ryan and Scarlett's downfall, but that hasn't made this any less painful for the 'Lost in Translation' starlet.

"Even if they are not a couple yet, this is very awkward for Scarlett. She too thinks of Sandy as a friend and hates the thought that Sandy is on team Ryan after the breakup, that is if she isn't already his girlfriend," an insider tells me.

Look how good they look together in the picture. I think they are perfect for each other. Both have a great sense of humor, both seem to be loyal and loving type people and I for one love Ryan Reynolds and think he is adorable. And Sandra never makes a bad movie. They are my 2 favorite stars.

That's right njgirl. How interesting since she's the one, or so I've heard, who wanted the divorce. Now that he's hanging out with Sandy, she's upset? She didn't want him when she thought no one else did, but seeing that he's palling around with SB, all of a sudden she's 'devastated'? Give me a break! I've never thought she was pretty and she certainly doesn't hold a candle to Sandra Bullock!

Scarlett is just miffed that she isn't in control and that he was easily able to move on from her. This is her ego that is devastated, nothing more. Ryan has wanted a family (that means KIDS) and none of the women he's been with have been willing to have one. I dont think Sandra is permanent, but she may be what he needs to transistion to a woman who wants a lifestyle more in line with what he wants. For that I think he has to just date and marry someone not in front of the cameras.

Agreed! She is upset because Ryan was her puppet, and now she can't jerk him back and forth anymore. I liked Scarlett, and still hope that she is a better person than that, but I have my doubts. Boo to those super-creepy people out there like her, who seem to genuinely enjoy toying with the emotions of others and derive pleasure from the pain and devastation that they are causing.

I agree. Scarlett and Ryan broke up. Sandra B did not I am sure have anything to do with the breakup and she and Ryan became good friends when making The Proposal so sometimes thats what friends are for, a shoulder to cry on. Maybe Scarlett is jealous that Ryan has found a new love interest, and Sandra is a perfect one and deserves some happiness. Scarlett has to grow up and try and live her own life without Ryan.

Plus, you can't dump someone and expect them to spend the rest of their days pining for you! it irritates me that a friend of Scar said that "that fool has gone and got himself photographed with [Bullock] on New Year's Eve of all days" maybe they are just friends or maybe he wants the world to know he has a new love and is doing just fine. If Scar can tell the world she dumped Ryan, he can tell the world he's moved on!

It's my understanding that Scarlett has been seen with at least 3 different guys prior to her separation from Ryan. What is she talking about that he shouldn't be seen with other women? He's known Sandra for 10 years and I think they are planning on making another movie together. From what I've read Ryan and Sandra have always liked each other as friends. So they go out, so what!

I always thought Scarlett was a bit weird & strange. Could never figure out what he was doing with her. She seemed a bit wild. They seem so different. He & Sandra seem happy together. It is very important to be best friend before moving too fast to the next level. They are being wise taking it slow. I wish them both love & happiness.
