By now, everyone has heard about the rumored romance between Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. That includes the actor's soon-to-be ex-wife, Scarlett Johansson, who, I'm told by friends, isn't too happy."Scarlett is a deeply private person, who during her entire marriage was only ever seen and photographed with her husband a handful of times," a friend of the actress tells me. "Now, less than a month after they split that fool has gone and got himself photographed with [Bullock] on New Year's Eve of all days. Of course she is devastated."

Caroline, I agree. Two things I have never understood is: 1. Why Oprah is a huge hero and 2. Why people think Sandra Bullock is ALL that? I've never seen so many people concerned about someone's happiness that they don't even know! Sandra's got issues.

Can you name ONE other entertainer who has done more for people than Oprah? Can you name ONE other entertainer who strives to raise awareness, literacy and positive images on television?
And can you explain why it is that when someone gets to the level that she is, there are those who are not doing a damn thing for anybody outside their own family or circle of friends who are quick to criticize and demonize?
When you actually "meet" Oprah, then you will be qualified to make the idiotic statement you (and those that say the agree) made.
I only replied to your post because I could care less who is dating who in Hollywood and am baffled by those that find this stuff so damn interesting. But correcting a blatant smeer against a successful woman who has done nothing but good with her power and money seemed like it was worth it.
As a matter of fact, I can name one person who has done more for mankind other than Oprah: Danny Thomas. St. Jude Children's Center. Oprah has not established anything of value that will survive her on her death, other than maybe a foundation that will give out money here and there. Danny Thomas, on the other hand, has given life, hope, and the access to medical care for children who would have otherwise not received that same care due to finances.
Oprah is not evil, but she doesnt hold a candle to Danny Thomas.
Most people figure that people that get to her level do a lot of what they do because of tax benefits and because it draws attention to themselves. Sad fact, but true.

Rumor, second hand sources, and to top it all of you pretend to know what Scarlett is thinking/feeling despite admitting she is one of the most private people in Hollywood. You get paid for this?

I agree with Joe... those un-named sources, "friends" "someone close to..." are all gossip tags for unsubstantiated rumors that no one can verify and may have been fabricated.
Listen, Scarlett has always been a cold fish, never mentioning her husband at awards shows, saying married life is "good", while he used words like "wonderful". Good riddens, he's better off--what an upgrade!

Scarlett is the one who wanted to be separated, why she does not like what she sees. She was the one, who wanted out of the relationship. Sandra and Ryan are friends and even if its more, I say good for them.

I always find it silly the way some of these celebrities go on about how "private" a person they are. You're in a profession, which most profess to love, where what's most important is your appeal to the general public. Being photographed is part of your job! Without it you don't have a job! I've always found Scarlett Johansson to be rather affected, and not nearly as talented or beautiful as so many claim she is. In hindsight her marriage seems to be another miscalculation like choosing a bad script. I wouldn't at all be surprised if Ms. "private person" starts showing up in every gossip website with a new script...I mean man.
