Conrad Murray, the physician accused of injecting Michael Jackson with a lethal amount of sedatives, was ordered to stand trial on a count of involuntary manslaughter. According to TMZ, Judge Michael Pastor then ordered the suspension of Murray's license as a condition to the doctor's bail. E! Online reports that Murray has pleaded not guilty to the charge. This ruling comes only six days after more than 20 prosecution witnesses testified that Murray violated his duties as a medical professional by injecting Jackson with a surgical-grade anesthetic then failing to properly monitor him to see the effects of the drug.
One of Jackson's bodyguards, Alberto Alvarez, testified at the preliminary hearing against Murray, confirming that the doctor demonstrated "an extreme deviation from the standard of care" by administering the amounts of anesthetic he did to Jackson, then concealing the evidence and not thoroughly attempting to resuscitate the King of Pop.

Diamondsmiles,
I believe according to testimony that Michael Jackson was dead way past 20 minutes. I ready yesterday that Conrad was on the phone at least for an hour and half during the time he was supposed to be monitoring him, and he wasn't even in the room. I believe all this was done intentionally. Also who was the other doctor that it is stated that he called during the hour twenty minutes?
Sorry folks but Conrad isn't a killer. If he is a killer you'd have heard of others he "dealt with" & what was in it for him by killing Jackson (If he did?) No, i must disagree. I say he is innocent. Michael himself may have given himself a dose when Conrad was out side the room as Michael frequently did. Then when Dr Conrad came in Michael may have said "hey Doc, shoot me up so i can sleep, would you? " So then he did as requested and became overdosed. case closed.
Rose- please tell me this was a poor attempt at humor and you really don't believe what you posted because this has to be one of the most ridiculous posts i have read- this monster has been ordered to stand trial- case is far from closed-
maybe you should go back and read about this case- michael was the victim of a HOMICIDE - murray is responsible!

I'd like 2 know if Rose above & below posters are 1 in same ?????!!!!!
This doctor is my hero. He helped rid the world of a chronic, sick, twisted pedophile who got away with it too many times. MJ is now where he should be--in a very, very hot place. Good riddance, and good luck, Dr. Murray. You did a good thing.

Dave- Around countless children. Accused, by unscrupulous who later RECANTED, only TWICE. If what U say is true, should have been alot more. Quack's azz hopefully gets jailed. Like 2nd "victim's" lying mom did, 4 welfare fraud. If ignorance were illegal, these boards would B virtually empty. Murray facing charge, because law specific. Doesn't bend merely 4 opinion.
How do you know where he or anyone else is? You can only answer for what you do. You don't know anything that went on only what you read in the media and did not the young men recant their stories? It is better to let someone think you're ignorant than to write a ignorant post and remove all doubt. None of us can judge anyone and should be more concerned where "we" are going to spend eternity. Or are you GOD? I don't think so!
Only sorry authorities waited this long 2 suspend "doctor's" license. Suppose law states restricted sedating enough, until this point. Perhaps now enough evidence to put this quack in a coop where he belongs. Thank U Judge Pastor! Thank U Mr. Alvarez!

Michael should have been monitored while on this drug, he was not. Condrad is responsible for giving a medicine, thats only suppose to be used in a operating room.
That alone says it all, Condrad will be facing court now.
This drug is not suppose to be used at home, ever, that alone will get Condrad. Condrad should not have any of the drug that was in Michael's system. There were bottles of the drug in Michael's home, hidden. Theres so much that Condrad did wrong. I am happy he will have to answer for all of this now.
Its true, Michael wanted the drug to sleep, but Condrad knows better. A good docotr would have said no, but Condrad didnt, all to make a buck. And then didnt watch Michael when he should have. I hope Condrad spends a few years behind bars, right where he belongs. I dont think Condrad did this on purpose, it was pure negligence.

Good, he needs to go to jail for this and never treat anyone medically again, the hack!

i think that murray should go to jail why should he keep getting away with it if he didn't want to do it he should have told michael no it was that easy to say to someone no but murray didn't say that so he got the drugs and gave michael all of them i sure hope that murray can't still be a doctor no longer in any state and its murrays falt no one else
