Natalie Portman Flashes Her Engagement Ring
Natalie Portman showed off her engagement ring while posing for photographers after she collected her Desert Palm Achievement Award on Sunday, and it is quite a stunner.
PEOPLE reports that the slender engagement ring has a dazzling round diamond set with pavé diamonds around it.
Portman recently announced her
surprise engagement and pregnancy with fiancé Benjamin Millepied, her 'Black Swan' choreographer and dance partner.
Jake Gyllenhaal presented Portman with the award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, but had a few choice words to say about his ex-girlfriend before giving her the award.
"Natalie is the Audrey Hepburn of our generation," the actor told the crowd. "She is elegant, graceful, has amazing eyebrows ... is talented, really short, funny, smart, dedicated, incredibly kind."
"She's a vegan, which makes it really frustrating when you're picking a place to eat," he said, before adding, "She's also recently announced that she's going to be a mom, and her child will probably need therapy after seeing 'Black Swan.'"

He's just being honest. Maybe Natalie thought getting pregnant was the only way to get engaged. She's a smart girl and I'm sure she knows how to avoid a pregnancy - so why put the baby/pregnancy before the wedding?
Maybe she wants to? Like it affects you anyways, I'm sure she'll be a wonderful mother.

Another movie set romance, like the hundreds before them, it never lasts. Already they're against the odds of staying married, meeting on the set is an almost guaranteed death. I'm sure she'll have a fab wedding, spend huge bucks, have a cute little kid dressed in designer duds and then will divorce. Every time I see a Hollywood/celebrity marriage, engagement I think divorce in a few years when reality descends. Even regular folks have a 50% chance of divorce these days, I think with celebs it must be like 70-80%. Sometimes I wonder if they get married just to throw a big expensive party that they're the center of.

She's such a lovely creature, she blew me away in Black Swan. I wish them both lots of happiness, she is a smart and levelheaded individual, I'm sure she'll be a great mom. Beauty and brains are rare in Hollywood.

Best wishes, Natalie! Just one observation (as a wardrobe consultant)--The first thing I noticed was not your lovely ring, but the choice of nail color with your copper tone sleeve of your pretty dress; one should never use a "cool" hue (pink) with a "warm" hue (copper). Just an observation!
