'Toy Story 3' snagged the top prize from film criticism hub RottenTomatoes.com, winning the Wide Release Golden Tomato Award and cementing its place as the best-reviewed movie of 2010. The Pixar three-quel notched a 99 percent "fresh" rating and has held strong since its release last June."Deftly blending comedy, adventure, and honest emotion, 'Toy Story 3' is a rare second sequel that really works," Rotten Tomatoes writes in a quick blurb of praise. The computer animated feature beat out films like 'The Social Network,' 'True Grit,' 'How to Train Your Dragon' and 'The King's Speech.'
As PopEater reported last summer, 'Toy Story' came thisclose to being the first film trilogy to receive perfect 100 percent ratings across the board on Rotten Tomatoes. To date, the Lee Unkrich-directed film boasts 245 positive reviews and just three "rotten" ones. Notoriously contrary New York Press film critic Armond White dissed the third installment, and two curmudgeonly bloggers tagged along to dent the trilogy's otherwise flawless web-legacy.

I love all 3 Toy Story movies.

All the Toy Story films are overrated, especially the third installment!

I agree. Although I enjoyed the first two, yet haven't seen either one since they were in the theaters so don't know if my opinion has changed, I rented part 3 on demand and was not all that impressed. I wanted to see it anyway, but even more because of all the hype. It had it's moments, but wasn't as SPECTACULAR as it is made out to be. And yes, I do have a heart and cry at movies, but I don't see why Toy Story 3 is being hailed as the most incredible piece of cinematic history. OK, that may be dramatic, but I just don't get all the raves. It was cute, but that's about it. Don't worry Andy, stay in college. The Toys Are All Right.
I have to say the whole college bit got me. When the first movie came out my daughter was young. Now she is a freshman in college. She watched it with me and when Andy was getting his stuffed packed and his mom teared up got me and the end was a little sad too. We went through all her things before she left and there was a few stuffed animals that went in her "go to college box"
