John Travolta and Kelly Preston Introduce Baby Benjamin

Proud parents John Travolta and Kelly Preston are ready to introduce new son Benjamin Hunter Kaleo to the world.

"For us it's been uplifting," Travolta, 56, told Hello! about having a baby. "Especially when he smiles at me and seems contented in my arms. He's given the house a renewed spirit and purpose."

Big sister Ella Bleu, 10, is also excited for her new role as "Mommy's helper" and covers Benjamin with kisses.

After trying to conceive for three years, the couple received "the best news" that Preston, 48, was expecting. They made the announcement last spring on Travolta's official website.

"It's impossible to keep a secret ... especially one as wonderful as this," they wrote. "We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella."

The family's happy news comes just two years after the death of their son Jett, 16, who suffered a fatal seizure.

According to Hello!, the new family portraits serve as a starting point for the Jett Travolta Foundation, a fundraising organization started by the couple to help other children suffering from conditions similar to Jett's.

Kelly has her hand folded next to John, not around his back. It is clear that the hand is hers just folded at the elbow and tucked under the baby with her hand supporting him.

No the baby isn't wearing a sweater I think that is a blanket draped over Kelly's arm and around the baby. Perhaps that is why we can't see the rest of her other arm. Still some of her other arm should be there. Odd.

Who cares who the baby looks like? It is none of anyones business but their own. He is a beautiful baby and they deserve this new ray of sunshine in their lives. They are good people and good loving parents. Best wishes to the newly expanded family.

Please, with all the plastic surgery those two have had you can't tell anything. Jett and Bella looked like a Travolta from the start, I think that this baby isn't biologically from them. But still don't understand the drama.

I work with children who have grandparents younger than the Travoltas and Great-grandparents not much older.

Be sure to instill Scientology into him really deep, John; then you and he will rule the world together some day, along with fellow cultists Tom Cruise and Kirstie Alley. And don't let this one die from lack of medical attention. Remember, teach him that the body can heal itself.
