Stephen Baldwin: 'I Did a Very Foolish Thing' by Attacking Sean Hannity
EXCLUSIVE: Stephen Baldwin knows he's been a bad, bad boy. The 'Usual Suspects' actor has chosen
PopEater to publicly apologize to Sean Hannity for saying he should "get off the radio" for exhibiting "petty stupidity" by bashing Stephen's older brother Alec on the air last week.
"I did a very foolish thing," Stephen admits when he reacted negatively (and publicly) after Sean played Alec's pig-headed voice mails to his then 11-year-old daughter during a Jan. 4 broadcast. "When Sean played that again, it really caused a knee-jerk reaction in me 'cause it's my brother," he tells PopEater.
Watch after the jump.
That "knee-jerk reaction" came in the form of a text message and comments to Page Six, where Stephen bellowed, "This behavior by Hannity is the stupidity that people often refer to when they think of George W. Bush and Sarah Palin. If he needs to lower himself to petty stupidity, then he needs to get off the radio."
Them's fightin' words and the FOX News star quickly shot back by slamming the '30 Rock'-er for not fighting his own battles.
"Alec trash-mouths all the time, including me, and it's too bad he needs his little brother to defend him," he said. "I don't need lectures from any Baldwin on conservatism, religion, politics or anything else. That's one screwed-up bunch."
Stephen now says that what Sean isn't taking into consideration is that making fun of someone can be "hurtful to others. Other members of my family."
Chalk it all up to brotherly love, but Stephen now thinks he was in the wrong and is ready to attone to his fellow Christian conservative.
"I'm here ... to publicly apologize to Sean Hannity and say that I'm very sorry. That was not the correct thing to do, and I feel terrible about it. In turn, it became a much more exacerbated situation because he got upset, and he got angry and kind of used his platform in a greater way to make the matters worse. So I just wanna call it even, and wanna say Sean, from the bottom of my heart, God bless ya. I apologize and wanna take the higher road here, bury the hatchet and just hopefully start over."
Stephen's brother, Billy, also stood up for Alec last week, telling me on my
HDNet show 'Naughty But Nice Rob' that those infamous voice mails are "totally misunderstood."

Who cares what Hannity thinks??? I wouldn't have apologized.

Stephen is right Sean Hannity should get off the air. Why would a TV personality attach a movie actor over a personal situation. If Alex has said some thing about Sean then Sean should defend himself but not with a personal attack using an unrelated, family problem.
The truth is Sean Hannity can't defend his lies and outrageous political statements. The truth is that Sean Hannity is a part of the problem (hate speach and lies) that caused the murders in Tucson. So he has no other recourse than to make personl attacks.

Stephen Baldwin is a D-Bag!

Hannity probably doesn't know what the word "apologize" even means, since he's never once apologized for the dozens of lies he tells every day on the air.
But his anger is excusable, since he's probably suffering from "short guy" syndrome. If you've ever seen Hannity in public, you'll know what I mean. He's only an inch or two from being a dwarf. During the Fox News broadcast of the 2004 election a camera accidently took a shot of the side of the desk he was sitting at. He was sitting on what looked like two phone books, and his feet didn't reach the floor.
Later in the same segment, he was seen standing next to a group of people, and the top of his head barely reached the jacket pockets of the others. He gave the cameraman a dirty look and they switched to another location.

What lies??
So you think that Dwarves are somehow inferior. Interesting attitude.
Kate,
"What lies"?
Here's a clue: If Sean's lips are moving, he's telling a lie.
Obama “If they bring a knife to a fight, we bring a gun.”
Alec Baldwin “we need to stone Henry Hyde and his family to death”
Dem Congressman who called for GOP Gov. to be put against a wall and shot now pleads for civility.
YET THE MEDIA CLAIMS IT IS SARA PALIN SAYING MEAN THINGS.LOL, THE LIEberal STUPID MEDIA

Kejavas is the stupid one. Henry Hide was a Republican, and be hard to stone him to death ,seeing he died in 2007.
A point that is being overlooked regardless of what the story of the night was (which I did not see) is.....Stephen defending his brother maybe acceptable to some or all, however, where he lost my possible support was that he proceeded immediately to ridicule OTHER people. People who have nothing to do with this immaturity & disgrace, nor would ever waste a breath weighing in; and who dispite the unpopular belief that Pres Bush and Palin caused all evils of the world since the beginning of creation - I think most people will agree this one literally has nothing to do with them .... WOW, Stephen or Sean -- who is the pot and who is the pan? It's not to called EVEN, they both need to calm down and put things in perspective.
Any everyone else probably should too before bringing another unrelated person and attacking them in defense.

Sean is an idiot, 90% of the country can tell this by just listening for a few seconds. He is a watered down Glenn Beck. (I guess that makes his some form of diarrhea)

LMAO you know i agree with one thing it only takes a couple of seconds to spot an idiot ;)
Aren't there IMPORTANT things to get upset about? Once again it proves that people who "text" are generally juvenille. Grownups talk, adolescents text.

Stephen. Why would you apologize to a moron? This fool believes that Global Warming is a figment of the imagination. When you have heard one of his shows, you have heard them all. Bla, Bla, Bla. He's just a nasty mouth, and makes the whole network look ignorant, which Fox is.

" Global Warming IS a figment of the imagination"!! Try googling "climate gate" for starters.
In this world of the Internet and other sources for news, the newspapers and a lot of the TV news shows are doing everything they can for ratings; even if they are exaggerating or lying. Or plain just don't know what the heck they are talking about.
I guess all the billions and billions of heat producing objects that we are using has absolutely no effect on our little enclosed shell we cause Earth. Where does all the heat go?
It amazes me how thes baldwin idiots ever were in movies. I guess the days of real actors like John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart are history. Too bad they can't keep their big mouths shut when they have no idea what they are talking about. I do not watch movies that have either of these idiots in them.

Alex Baldwin makes more money than you will ever see or have. He is a far better actor than John Wayne ever was. Anyone who says that John Wayne was a great actor is an idiot. Stewart great yes, Wayne no and Wayne wasn't that great a human being either. Baldwin has issues, but to keep bringing up a matter about an 11 year old girl involving her father is a thoughtless thing to keep reminding a child of. Makes Hannity a dirt bag.
The trash brothers do it again !!! Maybe the "brothers" believe that ALL publicity is GOOD publicity. Not from my point of view... Which is worse Stephen, doing the deed or talking about it.
