Camille Grammer Meets Kelsey's New Love: 'It Was a Little Uncomfortable'

EXCLUSIVE: Camille Grammer and ex Kelsey Grammer had their first meeting in months on Thursday, and the 'Fraiser' actor even brought along his fiancee Kayte Walsh, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star tells me in an exclusive interview.

"I saw Kelsey today, and I met Kayte for the first time," Camille reveals. "It was a little uncomfortable at first, but then I met her and I shook her hand. And I looked into her eyes, and I thought, 'She's OK, she's nice.'"

Camille's reaction to meeting the 29-year-old woman who her husband left her for may come as a surprise to those who know her as the villain on 'Housewives.' But the 42-year-old actress and model says she's committed to taking the high road in order to keep her family as together as possible.

"It's really important for me and Kelsey to be friends and amicable for our children's sake," she says. "Because you know, we have to co-parent and that's the correct way to do it."

Co-parenting is one thing, but does Camille think she can ever be friends with Kelsey again? So far, it's been a one-way street of communication, she says.

"I hope so, I hope so. I keep reaching out to him, but I think it's going to take a little time from his part," Camille believes. "Don't know why, you'd think it'd be the other way around."

Kelsey, 55, filed for divorce, after 13 years of marriage, during the summer after falling in love with Kayte.

"I found out during filming that he wanted out and that he had moved another woman into our apartment in New York and she had gotten pregnant," she says. "And I ended up the bad guy!"

Camille tells me she has already decided whether or not she will return next season after being very unhappy with the way she has been portrayed. "The show depicts me as the bad guy," she laments. Sadly, she can't make the announcement yet.

Camille was also laughing about remarks she made yesterday on Howard Stern's radio show, implying her ex liked to dress up in women's clothing. "I was joking," Camille admits. "I have known Howard for years, and when you agree to do his show you know you have to play."

I don't know why Kelsey didn't have Camille sign a prenup. I feel sorry for him that all the money he's earned and worked for most of his life is going to be stolen by her. Everyone who wants to get married should sign a prenup. Those who refuse to sign it are just interested in the other person's money.

I think the show needed a villian as everyone else seemed nice. Probably edited to show her bad side. The one I think has a bit of a mean streak is Kyle. One can pick-up on it the way she goes at her sister. As for Camille, my guess is she had to know something wasn't right way before Kelsey told her!..Don't think she was blindsided as she portrays. Just looks better, like Tiger Wood's ex, if you make yourself look more like the wounded one so financially your in a better position. That's why she put all her friends on the payroll... That will be listed in alimony.

I always saw Camille as very shallow, and a gold digger. Not sure why she wanted the kids, Its not like she gave birth to them. She used a surrogate. That should tell you everything. Sorry...I wish him well I Loved Fraiser and his characters. No, the new one will be gone withint the next two years. He needs to stop with the kids...imagine all that child support money he will be shelling out. I like Fraser. No fan of the wife at all...not a pretty woman inside or out.

Why don't poeple seem to understand that actors are, well actors. That is they are people trained to pretend to be someone else and, over time, many someone elses. Why do people somehow think that the "someone else" you see on screen has anything to do with what they really are?

I don't know of Camille except for that she is married to him, I don't watch her show. Saying that, I do know Kelsey Grammer has had so many issues with addiction, his health, failed tv shows... I suspect he needed a "boost" a young woman would give him. It's really sad he went and did this, not just cheating on his wife but him and the girlfriend getting pregnant to boot! I mean, she's old enough to know about birth control for heaven's sake! This guy is no gem, that's for sure!

I love Kelsey, he's a genius....exception being that he just can't seem to choose the perfect spouse for him. How he EVER got hooked up with Camille will forever haunt me (ha ha). Is he just too kind to say "no?" I do feel his leap into the arms of another; whoever the hell she is, previous to being honest with his aggravating wife, is typical of the male species.
How did he meet this new bimbo? What could possibly attract him to her, she's definitely NOT pretty, but then again neither is Camille; very strange looking; watch those eyes. Worst of all, she's a whiner & we have way too many of those on t.v.; Padma, Kardashians & probably a lot more I'm unaware of due to not watching their horrid shows.
Kelsey, I am hopeful you will finally be happy.

I have always liked Kelsey, and I dont blame him at all for divorcing this gold digging woman. Camille is a horrible woman, she only thinks about herself. Having a child of her own was even too much for her, so she had another woman carry it for her.. It cant get any more selfish, and lazy than that. Or she just didnt want to ruin her figure,, selfish.
Camille is self centered, self righteous, woman who deserves what ever she gets.
I wish Frasier, and his new girl friend, all the very best.
