Christina Hendricks Clowns Around in Playboy

Like anyone who has seen an episode of 'Mad Men,' when we heard that Christina Hendricks had posed for Playboy, we were more than a little curious to see the photos.

What we got, however, was more like scary Barbie shot-girl than sixties siren.

The photos starring Hendricks, which appeared in the July 1999 issue of the racy mag, show the actress sans her trademark red locks, wearing a platinum blond wig and a very '90s silver string bikini.

Other than the the oily, tan, thong-wearing guy she's straddling, the most disturbing part of the photo is the addition of a scary, boozy clown, whose sole purpose seems to be keeping teenage boys, who happen upon the picture, from ever stealing their dad's Playboy again.

1. Camille Grammer -- The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star wasn't always the socialite you see today. Back in the 1990s, Grammer, who was then known by her maiden name, Camille Donatacci, was a dancer, actress and model. Although Grammer called dinner guest Faye Resnick "morally corrupt" for posing in the magazine during O.J. Simpson's trial for the murder of her friend, Nicole Brown Simpson, Camille herself was, at one point, a model for the men's mag. While Grammer claimed that her modeling for Playboy was tasteful, maintaining that she was wearing lingerie for the shoot, it seems that Grammer not only posed nude for Playboy, in which she appeared a whopping 15 times, but also starred in two soft-core adult movies, as well as getting naked in mainstream films, including Woody Allen's 'Deconstructing Harry' and Howard Stern's 'Private Parts.'

2. Jessica Alba -- The good news: Jessica Alba appeared on the cover of Playboy. The bad news: she's mad as hell about it. The actress, who is famous for her "all clothing, all the time" policy, somehow ended up on the cover of the March 2006 issue of Playboy without ever posing for the mag. A promotional image of Alba in a bikini from her 2005 film 'Into the Blue' was used as the cover shot for the issue, which came as a surprise to the actress, who threatened a lawsuit. In a statement released to the media following the cover's release, Alba said, "Playboy has violated my personal rights and blatantly misled the public who might think I had given them permission to put me on their cover when I didn't." Before the issue could make it to court, Hugh Hefner apologized to Alba and she dropped the suit.

3. Kim Kardashian -- The bootylicious brunette may be a household name for her reality show and multiple endorsement deals, but at one time, Kim Kardashian was just another socialite with a sex tape. Due to the nature of her early fame, it came as a surprise to many fans that Kardashian stayed more or less covered up when she posed for Playboy. Kim went as far as saying she regretted posing for the magazine, claiming that the shoot was her mother's idea. Despite her hang-ups, Kardashian bared it all in W Magazine only months after denouncing her Playboy spread.

4. Kendra Wilkinson -- Sure, the former 'Girls Next Door' star is no stranger to posing in Playboy, but her latest cover came as a surprise to some of her fans. Kendra, who married Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Hank Baskett in 2009, told PEOPLE prior to her wedding that she would no longer pose nude for the magazine, and was debating any further Playboy shoots on her E! reality show. In December 2010, however, fans saw the new mom back on the magazine's cover. What they didn't see was a disclaimer that the photos were shot two years prior to their release.

5. Donald Trump -- Who is the last person you'd like to see under Playboy's poly-bag? Your mom? Your first grade teacher? For many disappointed fans, the answer was "Donald Trump," who appeared fully, and perhaps excessively, clothed (cummerbund and all!) on the March 1990 issue of Playboy, much to the dismay of eroticism enthusiasts everywhere.
