Kanye West Cracks 'I'ma Let You Finish' Joke on Twitter

It took him more than a year, but Kanye West is finally getting in on "I'ma let you finish" jokes making light of his infamous disruption of Taylor Swift's 2009 MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech.

Kanye boasted on Twitter that his new single with Jay-Z, 'H.A.M,' is No. 2 on iTunes just days after its release. Second to whom, you ask? Britney Spears, of course, whose long-awaited return to music came in the form of 'Hold It Against Me' on Monday. Spears' new tune claimed the top spot by Tuesday.

In the 2009 VMAs incident, Kanye spat the line, "Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!" The sentiment spawned a deluge of viral humor running with the "I'ma let you finish, but ..." theme, resulting in sites like imaletyoufinish.com and kanyegate.tumblr.com.

Now Kanye's wise to the joke and showing it on Twitter. He busted out an "I'ma let you finish" on a free G.O.O.D. Fridays track he posted last summer, 'See Me Now.' As the song -- featuring both soul singer Charlie Wilson and Beyonce -- winds to a close, Kanye jokes, "Uncle Charlie, by the way, and I'ma let you finish, but I got Beyonce on the track." Hear it:

Great Job Kanye. I've had enough of the music industry finding below average White artist and promoting them, manufacturing them, and packaging them as world wide talent. How many times have anyone heard Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and sister, Taylor, or Justin Bieber sing live. When artist like Rihanna, Kanye, etc have to work their butt off just to sell half as many records. People hate Kanye because he exposes and tells the truth about what's going on in the music biz. Period.

I agree with part of what you said about manufacturing artists... but seriously, Kanye? He stinks as bad as any white bread artists out there. He rhymes.... there's no MUSIC to speak of. Ok, there are beats... but no music. I agree that all the lip syncher's out there should not be taken seriously. Watch the Grammy's... it's pathetic to see these "artists" perform when NONE of them, white or black, can hit the notes. All the shows with sampled vocals are a joke. Britney, Rihanna and the whole perfect body, perfect look people... Britney got busted in Australia lip synching and her manager said it's about the show, not the singing... All the big labels have changed how we listen to and enjoy music... it's about what you look like... not how you perform. Sad.

He's a genius .Original beats and novel songs will stand the test of time . Katy Perry ? Her yelling-yodel-three-note-voice will soon be old-hat . Who marries a gay guy and doesn't know it ? Now that's ego ! Kesha is even worse . I could understand if you were drunk this music may sound good but sadly it's all fake and most people have a tin ear .
