Owen Wilson Welcomes Baby Boy in Hawaii

Owen Wilson is tackling his biggest role yet- fatherhood! The actor and girlfriend Jade Duell, welcomed a baby boy in Hawaii, said Usmagazine.com.

New dad Owen Wilson was able to keep his one-year-old relationship with girlfriend Jade Duell a secret up until the couple announced Monday that they were expecting. The 'Little Fockers' star intentionally kept his private life out of the spotlight. "Owen has had many girlfriends under the radar who no one knew about," says a source close to Wilson. "He may have dated high-profile women like actress Kate Hudson and musician Sheryl Crow, but that is not the norm for him. He likes regular people."

Wilson spent many holidays traveling around the world and hanging out in Hawaii where he owns property. He and Duell have enjoyed a clean, outdoor lifestyle, which includes surfing, swimming and hiking on Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, British Columbia.

"He tries to blend into a community and has always kept his private life as secretive as possible," the source says, adding that his family has also been instructed to say nothing to anyone about him or his relationships.

Wilson, who is thrilled about becoming a first-time father, comes from a close-knit family in Dallas. His father is an advertising executive, speaker and writer, and his mom is an accomplished photographer. With brothers Luke and Andrew, Wilson has always maintained a close relationship with his parents, returning to Dallas several times a year.

The source also said that "some of the good upbringing [Wilson] had will have a chance to shine on its own merit. It's a whole new chapter in the Owen Wilson book of life."

Well, I don't know about all that.

His older brother has three children; one with his ex-wife and two born to two different women within six months of each other, and supposedly he's a deadbeat dad and a lousy father.

So, did the "good upbringing" skip Andrew Wilson for some reason, or is the Wilson publicity machine working overtime because the whole "hidden pregnant girlfriend-thing" seems a LITTLE sketchy?

Yeah, that's true about Andrew.

Nice try putting a good spin on this though.

He only admitted to this chick being knocked-up on Monday because Star had the pictures and was publishing on Thursday. Tabloids have a two to three week lead time, not two to three days!

God only knows how many other children this guy has hidden away!

I am never shocked by the hyprocisy of people. When Natalie Portman and Kate Hudson get preggo out of wedlock it is all criticism, when Owen Wilson does the same thing its almost all congratulatory. What the gives?
Natalie and Kate did not get preganant by themselves! So, how is Owen Wilson not responsible for getting a girl pregnant out of wedlock?
Now a days it seems that any kind of birth control is the responsiblity of the female and not the male.

Any guy that is too stupid to wear a condom, now he has a woman he is forced to possibly marry and a kid he probably didn't want. Read his 2005 Rolling Stone interview where he talks about not wanting to wear a condom during and other highly personal - definitely not private - matters, all for public consumption.

He only values his privacy when he has something to hide.

Are you mentally challenged? I'm not sure what a suicide attempt has to do with his ability to be a father.
