'Jerseylicious' Star Picks a Fight With Oklahoma

The explosion of the Jersey-themed reality shows is truly mind blowing, right? 'Jersey Shore,' 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' and one of my guilty pleasures, 'Jerseylicious' on the Style Network. Tracy DiMarco, the never-shy star of the show, stopped by my HDNet hit 'Naughty But Nice With Rob' to show off her big mouth, big hair and big ..., well. She took on all the haters out there who think she and her Garden State co-horts are giving Joisey a bad name.

"They're jealous because Jersey picked up and so they're like oh, why can't Oklahoma be" hot right now, she opines. "Because no one wants to watch you, that's why! Who wants to go to Oklahoma? I don't even know where that is on the map!"

In case you haven't seen 'Jerseylicious,' the show is a comedic drama that centers around the high-profile and recently renovated beauty salon run by the mother/daughter management team of Gayle Giacomo and Pereira where Tracey works.

"People from new Jersey say what they think. We have big mouths, big booties and big hair so get over it," DiMarco tells me.

I can see why Tracy gets TV time; she's a trainwreck. I totally believe that she has no idea where anything is on a map. Her makeup and clothes make her look like a streetwalker, but honestly, can you really make Jersey look worse than it already does? Keep tramping, Tracy.

This Lady should give some of her earnings to Governor " C ", in hopes of solving just the bridge fisaco to NEW YORK .

A little less make up, might make it less apparent. Also engaging her half ounce brain before speaking, MIGHT make it appear smaller, which is a doubtful HOPE .

speak for yourself...Oklahoma is one of the most used states for terrain in the movies because of our variety of lakes, hills, mountains, deserts, prairies, woodlands, and cities. Too bad not many people know that, but it's true. People in New Jersey still think Oklahoma is overrun with wild Indians and gun-totin cowboys on horseback, that we have outhouses, no indoor pluming, and couldn't tell a rabbit from a horse if the saw one. and if whatshername can't find Oklahoma on a map, then I have to wonder what type of schooling she received. Obviously geography wasn't part of it.

The show is hilarious. Alexa and Tracey are the only two who have the "moxie" to market themselves. Dora is a bully. As the new addition to Gatsby she reminds me of a poisonous toad. She spits out her toxic attitude masked as "I'm just trying to help yooou". Olivia is a cute girl, but she is very immature and always defensive. She should go to work for "Glam Factory" as Alexa will help her more than Anthony and his small, new salon. Gayle is not a good owner as she fails to remedy the conflicts there. I really like Gigi and hope that she matures beyond her relationship with Frankie. He is so not ready to settle down, and both of them know it. The show is a "guilty pleasure" and far more engaging than Jersey Shore. Why all the criticism about their clothing, hair and makeup styles. If that is the style that New Jersey people like, then so be it. Just look at the big hair and cowboy clothing of Texans. Or the "pants on the ground" for guys and bleached blond hair of California "wannabe Pamela Anderson" girls. Or the funky tweed and goofy hats that folks in Boston wear. Each state has it's signature style. Get over it.

I enjoy the Jersey shows. The shows are fun. Even though there are some cut-throat scenes, I enjoy watching the story lines. New Jersey is actually a beautiful area that I visited this past summer and fall, and was quite pleased.
I only wish the best for some of these kids that get knocked around on the show. May they land somewhere safe and successful. Thanks for the entertainment. A show in Oklahoma would be cool, though. They have big hair anywhere, honey!
